Good lenses are more important than a good cam! A full frame cam is not a must and doesn't say anything about if you're a good photographer or not. It has advantages but recent crop cams of Nikon and Canon offer great possibilitys, too.

Using a fixed focal length makes you move and think about your composition even more. I love my 100mm lens for its bokeh, it's a great portrait lens!

yeah i agree, mostly people just want better cams, but the lenses are the one doing most of the work, the cam can just make the job easyer or harder..

I'm near to Milano... September is a great moment for Ring (my A3 TDI remain slower here ) ... If you've not a place to stay take a look at the Hotel An Der Nordschleife, is placed approx at 50 meter from the Ring at the Ex-Mulhe corner.

we were staying in the closest hotel to the ring entrance the ringhaus hotel, we liked it a lot even if we were there just 3 days.. you even have the view at the ring entrance from some rooms it's really close, like 50 meters too..
near Milano, cool, i'm from slovenia so we're kinda like neighbours
do you go to the ring every year?

This year was first time for me, but as you can imagine I immediatly fallen in love with the Nurburgring. We are doble lucky because in the same week at the F1 track we can see the FIA GT round

yeah it was the first time for me at the nurburgring too.. but it was great, but we weren't there long enough.. i couldnt take so many pictures..so i will insist on going again next year and because of the rain we had the stores were closed and i couldnt buy anything from the giftshop so duuh.. need to go again
yeah i have like 15 minutes to trieste because i live right on the coast so we go there sometime
