i listen to few french songs too, like oldies type, (with happy go lucky beat of song) sadly, i dun understand the meaning but i love the melody of it, one of them is this > "Je ne veux pas travailler" like this genre ^.^ foxtrot type

It's not that old ! That song was released in the early 2000 I think.
If you want oldies you can't check Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, or Edith Piaf... They song really good songs, and many American singers adapted them.
