I love your "Erio Town". It is super cute. What camera gears and lens do you use to photograph your figures/dolls? And you must be skill with CS5 right?

On all of my photos, there should be a list of spec of the camera used and setting. It is located on the lower right hand side of Deviantart page. I keep all the metadata so people can see the gears and setting I use.
Here are some of the lens my brother and I own.

We have two camera bodies. EOS 7D and EOS 5D Mk3.

Thank you, much appreciated Brian. Can't wait to customize the paint job on that Cobra Crimson HISS tank to look just like the packaging/box. Every time I stare at the Crimson HISS Tank box... I kept saying I wish it looks like that. lol

I apologized for replying early without listening to the entire episode. I had to reply immediately when you discuss my question. Haha~ So you got the Nom Anor and Aayla figure, will you be doing a review on those figures on the show? By the way, I never order carded figures from Amazon. I only order books, dvds, and minor computer stuff such as flash drives etc. I highly suggest you try ordering collectibles items from BriansToys or from BigBadToyStore. BriansToys package the figure top notch because you have to pay an additional $2 for handling when checking out. BigBad uses bubble packing (not really a big fan) but does put a neon orange sticker that reads "Fragile." Next time try those places if you dislike hunting them down at local retailers.

I've been using BBTS for over five years and have spent almost 9K with them. I've never had any issue with them and I like dealing with them a lot more than Brian's whom I have also spent a fair amount of money or even Entertainment Earth.
The only reason I bought the figures from Amazon was the fact that none of the figures I wanted were available through any of the regular e-tailers I deal with and seemed to be cheaper than any of the current ebay actions listed at the time.
I am always looking for new places to get toys for a reasonable price and thought Amazon might work. I didn't have any problems with Past Generation Toys via Amazon, but I've dealt with them before through other channels and have always been happy with the service.
I have also bought custom fodder figures through Amazon previously without incident, so I had no reason to expect anything less than MOC figures to show up at my door.
I suppose we could do a On Card Review of Nom and Aayla!
BTW, who did you order your Darth Malgus from?

aliasangel2005 In reply to TheProsFromDover [2012-05-06 05:44:38 +0000 UTC]
Hi Brian,
I purchased the entire Darth Malgus wave with BBTS. It is Wave 02 (Set of 5) for $79.99. Many of my friends did that and the pre-order was sold out twiced! I had that wave on pre-ordered first time it sold out. As with this Vintage Collection line, I don't really cherry pick it. I like purchasing the entire wave unpunched from online retailers. That will guaranteed that I have one set MOC (unpunched), then I do my toy run at my local comic shops and local Walmart/Target/Kmart/TRU for openers. If I source those at my local retailers, I would pop them open for my Youtube channel reviews.
Say, you might want to pre-order for the next Star wars Vintage wave with Galen Marek. That wave is running low on pre-order as well. I pre-order the entire wave for $74.99 at BriansToys. They are doing the "ShipItFree" (Promo code) for any purchase over $75. This promo offer won't last FYI.
I did some shopping this afternoon and went to a R/C Hobby shop to pickup some paints. I know I don't need the Primer but the guy at the store insisted. Oh well, it cost me about $17. I just hope this (please see link below), will help with my Crimson HISS Tank project. Let me know if I should exchange something here. I got 17 days to exchange.

Thank you so much,
AliasAngel

Much appreciate Brian! I will carry the tips that you and JD gave over the podcast a try. The Crimson HISS tank is not built yet, so I can just take the body and customize it before putting it together. I completely agree with you that Sithfire30 is the best customizer ever! We can both praise up to this very talented individual. I saw his work maybe a year or two ago and to this day, he is still the best customizer if not even better then before. If you guys ever have time to check out my Youtube toy channel, that would be fantastic. You can go to youtube and do a search under "AliasAngelAlias." Episode 18 is very entertaining as usual, keep up the good work. It would be nice to have a opening music intro and ending music on the show, have you guys consider doing it one day?
Here is another question for your next show. How do you see figures collecting in the next 10 years? Example⦠Star Wars figures that was released during 2008-2010, some are worth somewhere around $20 to even $60 each. With the new Vintage Collection by Hasbro, the going rate for these figures are somewhere $15 to $20 right off before it even reach retail.
I manage to obtain Darth Malgus but purchased online for $30 shipped. It is rather crazy with the cost of the new Vintage figures. What's your take on the madness?
Hope you guys are able to obtain the wave with Wedge, Aayla Secura, Nom Anor, Kithaba, and others for reviews. I would love to hear what you guy think of these new figures.
(Copy paste this message) - DeviantArt doesn't keep records of conversation LoL
Cheers!
