Good that you're fine and i'm ok too.
Well in high school only 3rd (the last) class will have big exams.
That exams are called matura, maybe you heard about it?
Result of this tests will depends if we will go to university and what job we will get...

We have to pass exams from:
*polish language (written and oral)
*foreign language (written and oral)
*maths (written)
and it's basic but we can also choose other subject if we want to.

There are two levels of exams - primary and expanded.
If we want to pass expanded exam we must pass also primary...

It's bit twisted - there was so many changes with maturas ^^
I'm not sit a exams because I'm in first class, so we will have free days when 3rd classes will write their maturas.
I'm happy because of that xD

I hope your summer holidays have begun and that you are having fun. At the very least I hope you have decided on what you're going to do with your free time. Time pasts so quickly. You're lucky you are not doing the maturas this year. But even when the time comes, you'll be fine. Things have a way of working out.

The last summer of my youth has just begun. Exams have finished forever. But some say that every day is an exam. I will use this time wisely because I have to get a job after my break. So... I guess this is it.

I want to do something great on deviantArt but am not sure what...

No, mine holidays haven't started yet. They will start in the 25th of june, so i have to wait some time. But i don't complain - school isn't hard now at all. However today and yesterday was really hot - about 30 degrees. We couldn't endure! And today in Spain was only 19 degrees. Have you heard about that? The weather is changing so quickly. Usually in Poland summer isn't hot, it's just warm... How's the weather in England?

I have finally watched GTO and it was great and hilarious. Now i'm watching One Piece and i like it ^^

UK weather has been hot lately. I blame global warming, but then again, I like it when it's hot. Not boiling though like in Poland. On the positive side, ice cream is more enjoyable the hotter it is . Daylight over here are also longer now. I don't know much about Polish weather, but once your holidays start, you'll be enjoying the sun.

GTO the anime is good but the manga is waaay better. The manga also finishes properly. The anime stops at around volume 12 whilst missing out a lot of plotlines (with worst art). GTO has 25 volumes and more characters. Reading it brought out emotions in me that the anime did not.

I might give One Piece a go some time. Never watched it though .

I understand exactly what you mean about the pressures of everyday life. It feels like I'm standing still and the world just keeps spinning. There are 24 hours in a day (minus 8 hours for sleeping) yet I never get enough time. I need to manage my time better now. I have a habit of sleeping late at night (3 a.m.) because I just don't want the day to end.

Sorry for just going off the radar, I do that when I feel crushed my life. It's kind of like the defense mechanism of an ostrich, it just puts its head in the sand. haha. People complain about how my phone is always switched off during weekends and holidays. Its hard to change who I am .

I have to say yesterday it felt really good when I started replying to DA messages again. It was like a burden was lifted from my shoulders. Each week, I don't log on, my heart feels slightly heavier. Because I do consider you my friend. You talked to me when others were rude. I have to say that DA for me would not have been the same had you not been there. You made it feel like home.

Thank you for all your support, an artist is nothing without the support of friends. That is the truth. A lot of DA artists here who have built a huge fan-following, forget this. They become arrogant, start ignoring and demanding people to fav their work and buy their prints. But that is not how it works. You're a humble person, therefore I'm betting that you will be the eventual winner.

I know I keep saying this, but I'd rather underestimate an experienced artist than a young artist. With youth, you can achieve anything. I'm excited to see how much improvement you'll make as time goes by.

Well, you have a friend in me. No lies. You can talk to me about anything. I'm an artist and a human being going through the same things as you. I'm sorry that I'm no longer on DA as much as I'd like to. But if you have something urgent you need to get in touch with me about, note me. That way I don't have to filter through all the DA posts.

Looks like our situation is similar. When i have some free time, i usually waste it for sitting and doing nothing. it's just because i almost every day feel tired~
however i'm not surprised. just like you i'm sleeping late! In the other hand it's not my fault. Night is the best part of day for me, because then i feel lively and full of energy. And l love sleeping long and hate getting up early...

You don't have to sorry because of that. I know what you mean... Sometimes i want hide from people too. It's hard because my family really care of me C: It's good for me, but sometimes i want to have. Now I feel more courageous. I started to talk with people from my class. My life is changing... I want to be more confident bacuse life will be easier for me... You're right - it's hard to change. But i'm trying.

How's your new life coming along? You talked about befriending your classmates and talking more. I hope it has worked out for you. I'm proud of you. Like you said, no one makes it alone. It's good that you are going out of your way to say 'hi' to others, because most people will not. In doing so it is like you are opening a new pathway in life.

With friends you have good times and bad times- but hopefully mainly good one. Since meeting some good friends, I feel like I'm more prepared for the future- for what life will throw at me. I feel like a different person.

At present, I've signed up to a lot of DA competitions but I just don't feel the sense of urgency to draw. And as a result, most of the deadlines have pasted. Time really waits for no one.

Nothing much is happening in my life at the moment, just a bunch of exams I need to revise for. It's tough and I know I will be very stressed. But everything will work out in the end. It has to. It's always better to 'deal' with it than 'worry' about it. I hope once exams are over, I can finally draw again.

Thanks for always taking the time out to write to me. I know it's probably harder for you than me as english is not your first language. I really appreciate that.

Thanks for considering me a kindred spirit. It warms my heart. The feeling is mutual. At the end of the day, we are all in the same boat.

Sorry for long no writing, you know a lot of exams befor Easter xD Thanks - i discovered how many interesting people are in my class and i didn't realized it before. It's funny how easy is talking with people. Looks like i must gained my classmates trust.
It's good that you have friends - their are very important and they will aways happy to help you. I like helping people because it's nice to see them smiling...
When I take part in competition i always must do it as fast as it's possible, otherwise i'll forget and drop it.
Well my life is calm too. Exams are nothing new for me, because almost every week we have got exam, sometimes more than one - two, three. Its normal in Poland that we have to study much. I'm trying to get the best grades form every subjects, because i still don't know what i'll do when i leave school. I have a lot of time to think about it and when i will know i'll focus on few subjects. First class in General Secondary School (or High School - i'm not sure what counterpart is for our 'liceum' in Britain) are always crazy.
Worrying about exams won't help, the best option for me is not thinking about too much and be sure that i will pass it xD

Don't worry i really like writing and speaking in english. It's nice language. I still makes mistakes but i'm practising C: all the time.

Good luck with your exams. I know exactly how it is and understand what you are going through.

I have exams in 30 day's time and will be off revising in a matter of days. At least now you have an Easter Holiday . You can take it easy.

In the past, I always get very stressed during exam time. But looking back, I realised something. It was only important because it was right there in front of me. What I never see is the bigger picture. Life still goes now and, no matter what happens, it is never the end of the world. That is why this time I'm going to try and relax a little. Enjoy life. There are always bigger challenges out there waiting for you in life.

You're a nice person . So I wish you all the best for the future. Its good to hear that you are talking to people and making acquaintance. Acquaintance will eventually become friends. People are 'social' animals after all.

Yeah, good that Easter finaly came.
Do you like Easter? I like, because there is special atmosphere in air and i feel like spring is coming.
In english lesson my teacher told us that in great britain there is no tradition of painting eggs. You buy Easter Eggs in shops. Is it true? If it is, maybe try paint one, it's fun. The most fun is when you do it with friends.
The same with me. I always was scared and worrying with any exams. My dad is big support to me. He was saying tome and my sister to relaxed thanks to him i don't care anymore. Sometimes i'm sad about failure but i know that mistakes are natural thing for human xD
You are right. Friend will come late or later i just must be patience and wait. You are nice too and i hope we both will have calm and happy future, maybe as famous and great artists?
Well the truth is I don't fell any pressure - i just like writing to you although sometimes is hard to write in english. Polish is more poetic language friendly for creating new diminutives and neologisms, however english have more phrasal words and is much easier to understand.

well, I first started drawing when I was 16 to cover up my shy personality. haha. my first real manga was Love Hina.

I thought I was the best there is until I went to university and where met a friend who shared the same interests as me. only he was better than me. I considered him my rival. And was determined to use all my free time (when not studying or revising) to beat him. when he learnt to use Sai. I learnt Photoshop. I would not have done so otherwise.

So here I am now. my friend's gone off to japan. the last time I checked, i destroyed him. haha. no, I was just a little bit better.

I started drawing manga one year ago. I started draw after waching "Beyblade" (I wanted to watch something from my childhood). It was so nostalgic.
"Beyblade" was popular in my city when I was younger.
Everybody wanted to have beyblade (toy). I wanted to. When i got my own beyblade,
I destroyed it so easly hehehe.

My first pics sucked but i didn't give up. My sister draw too so we support each other. I don't have any friend who draw manga but i have my sister. She's very important person to me, she's my friend. I like drawing pic for her. When i see when somebody is happy because of my art it gives me strenght ^__^
Rivalry is good thing... I use both Sai and Photoshop, but i think i like sai more C:

I remember Beyblade. I bought some cheap replicas from Hong Kong. They were not like the real thing but were 1/6th of the price of UK ones. I have to say they were pretty fun to play but unfortunately could not be customised. Eventually they all broke. I never thought girls would play them. Thats really cool.

You and your sister really have a beautiful relationship. I'm really glad I'm not an only child. Having family you can depend on and share things with really makes for a better person. My sister doesn't share my love of art but she does enjoy anime. Thats good enough for me.

I've heard a lot of good things about Sai. My friend says its better for lining- like freer brush stokes.

My friend sometimes annoys me. He's a little too arrogant and has a complex where he's constantly pretending to be Japanese. I think people should be happy with who they are.

Speaking of Japan, I want to go there too. So far, I've been to Hong Kong and Korea.

I beaten my rival for now but its been a while since I last spoke to him. Been almost a year. I want to prove to him that I can best him without spending tons of money on art classes and art equipment like him.

Japanese fanart artists are great. Maybe its just me but are most artists from japan really good at manga/ anime style art? They can copy so many professional styles. I've found some on DA. Is there any you can recommend me?

Beyblede were quite popular in Poland, but mostly boys played it. From people that i known only me and my sister have beyblade, however when i bought beyblade my friends(girls) from neighbourhood were interested and wanted to play with me.

Yeah having siblings is comforting.

Your friend's right. I love Sai because of its brushes. It's loads of them and ther are just like real brushes... For me it's easier to make lineart and drawing. When i was drawing in photoshop it looks crappy and i couldn't get the effect of gentle strokes... In sai i feel it's possible.

My sister annoys me sometimes too. However it's good to have friend. Your friend is acting like otaku hehe. But try to understand him, japan is his passion. I meet some people who are just like that. I think he will stop it, give him more time. If it won't work, maybe talk with him. I think he doesn't realize that it's annoying. Maybe Poland isn't big and rich country, but I'm happy that I'm Polish.

You have a point. Later you'll be proud that you come to this without any help.

You sounds like you are working for Sai. haha. Are you advertising for them? lol. You know what, I might try it out some day. But sometimes when you have devoted some much time learning something (like me with Photoshop), you don't really want to learn something new. I still say Photoshop is the best for art manipulation and special effects. But you've really tempted me to use Sai.

My friend has already gone to Japan. haha. I has been almost 1 year since I last talked to him. My other friends kind of persuaded me that he was not normal and that I should avoid him =__= (he's really hentai. If you know what I mean). He pretends to be a girl when online and stays in his room most of the time. I went into his room and saw that he had one of those life-size anime girl cushions. That has got to be abnormal.

Anyways, thank you very much for taking the time to post me those links. They gave me hours of entertainment. You really have good taste . Well, I like anything about Naruto. Those artist are really great and gave me something to work towards. Maybe one day, we can be as good. Thanks again.

Really? Well I'm not working for them lolz, but i really like Sai and i just wanted you know how good it is C: Well i was working with photoshop for long time and it's good program. However for painting sai wins ^^ So if u will have same time you should try it.

When I was young I and my sister were chum with one girl. Playing together was always fun and we're doing some stupid thing, and when i think about it now i can stop laught. She moved and finds new friends. I and my sister feelt rejected. Friend is good thing.

Those artist are really great. When I have some time I finding new artist and enjoy watching their pics ^^ Yeah, one day we'll be as good as the, maybe even better than they?
