Yeah. I'm aware of this. I just haven't been inspired by anything lately. I need to start writing again because I love illustrating what I write. I also plan to start being more reliable and keeping a sketchbook with me at all times because the people at this school are ridiculously good. I need the practice. There's good news: I have time during the break, which starts the twentieth to get a head start on uploaded current projects and start my OWN.

School has been nothing more than a massive to-do list, where whenever each time one thing gets crossed out, three more tasks appear along with humiliation every time I'm not good enough for them. It's the SCAD hydra. I'm tired of stressing, being hungry/poor, and failing at what I'm supposed to be good at.
I'm also tired of not being able to see anyone but those working on projects in studio. The bright side is that those people are awesome--we talk about ridiculously deep stuff in there, such as crime, religion (or lackthereof in my case), sexuality, and personality problems and benefits. Too bad I didn't get anything done when we started talking about that. XD

Damn. Well...all i have to say to that is don't stress too terribly much over the 'not being good enough' thing about your art. You ARE good, there's something that I found on here by someone called Isaia, a message of confidence to any artist that her teacher apparently gave her.

"Stop worrying, stop erasing." Essentually, stop compairing yourself to others and just go with it. Stop worrying about being 'good' or not. Really you're always alot better then you think yourself to be, 'cause we're our own worst critics.

As to the to do list, apparently that's colledge. *still hasn't gotten into one, darn money* We're all going through a pretty rough time here, but we'll get through it in the end. *go us gettin' out of debt and depression* I'll get a job eventually and soon enough you'll get through this whole school thing too. ^.^ Find something to laugh at! It always makes everyone feel better. C'mon, y'know you want to see teh silleh cune.

Wait, what about money? Are you still living with your friends? How are you? Sorry for the interrogation, but I suddenly had this period of mourning, missing my rp buddies.

As for college, maybe try a bunch of scholarships and enter a community school in your state? That should cover it. There are a lot of need based scholarships out there.

As for the knowing I'm good, yeah, I'm cocky at times, but at others, I begin to worry just how good I am. I wasn't able to keep up with the work yesterday, turning in two unfinished projects while others finished theirs. We all have a hectic workload, why was I the one that failed to finish even though pulling two all-nighters in a row trying to finish. Then again, there were a few others that didn't finish either. I'll start rambling now. (maybe.)

Yesh. We'll get through it...somehow. And then probably laugh about those worries later.

Well....the way things are going I've had to help with paying for the rent, and sometimes some other bills. I don't mind too much, it's just I prefer to have that money for things that are, like, needed for, like, keeping a roof over our head and eating. lol I don't have the grades for a scholorship, and when I had gone to FAFSA (a financial aid thing for our community colledge) they were taking thier sweet time in giving me the aid, and when the due date came along I had to pay the entire thing and rent was due, so I opted not to go. I could try again I suppose for spring, or winter semester, but with my situation (the whole parental inheritance thing) I'm not exactly likely to get much. *shrugs*

I am still living with my friends, and I've been better. Things have been rough. Let's just say that moving out has been sounding more and more pleasant then staying here. Buuuut I don't want to abandon anyone. In either case, I'm okay. *shrugs*

I was strong then, and I knew how to do everything--I mastered fencing, archery, various musical instruments, and even the arcane--in such a short amount of time. Of course, this was when I was much younger, far quicker to learn, yet simple. This was during a time when I didn't understand things, such as other human beings or even fear. Maybe that's why I bore the mark of courage, but I would argue that courage is purer and more prevalent in those afraid of losing everything.
