I can't tell you how much I've wanted to call you the past couple of nights. I CANNOT SLEEP. IT IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO CLOSE MY EYES AND STOP THINKING.
I ended everything with the indian [grady indian, not debate adorableness indian]. Without telling him? Remember me telling you about that LONG ASS conversation I had with him about how he had to make an effort to make me feel like he wanted me in his life or I would fade out without telling him? Yeah, invoking that promise now. I'm not talking to him NEARLY as much as I used to, nor am I discussing anything serious, nor am I asking him for any kind of constructive advice.
It's just easier that way for now. I've been let down by that boy entirely too much and not only is he not worth my time, but he doesn't care one way or another. So, logically, there's no reason for me to call him a best friend.
I'm lonely now, though. He's always BEEN THERE, hasn't been there for me, but he's been there, and now that I'm making myself not rely on him for company... It's consoling and it's taken a HUGE weight off my shoulders... but I'm lonely.

I can't go on being his friend. I don't have any respect for him. He makes me sick. This is probably a really melodramatic way to feel but being around him no longer makes me any kind of happy. Being done with him was a huge help, but I don't feel like its enough. I'm not going to be all "ugh don't talk at me bitchface" if he tries to start a conversation, but I think pointedly avoiding him when I can is going to become increasingly necessary. I don't LIKE talking to him.. I lost any drive I had to be nice to him.
I'm just so... numb.

XD actually i got a new sketchbook a few weeks ago XD its still just kinda hard, take this week for example, i am a sophmore in high skool, so i am 2 and a half years from college, and i have to write 2 college essays for my college classes by next week >.< its just so hard, plus i still have homework for all my other classes 2 T.T so i have that and bowling(which is really fun and i am friends with everyone on the team XD) and i need to find a job so i can go on my french exchange program T.T

yeah AP classes, im in AP Bio and AP Euro History right now, it is HARD >.< and my teacher is crazy O.o i could have gone to Italy 2 weeks ago for it but i didnt have the money T.T and yeah i have to pay at least 2200$ to go to france and i dont even think that includes money for food and souvenirs and things like that T.T its a 2 week trip for me to france and i already have my penpal XD

honestly, there's just so much more you can do with traditional art, especially since "traditional" is such a vague term. it basically means "whatever comes from the heart, culture, and the mind alike shall be created on a medium."
well its good you want your own voice, but dont try to create it from scratch. its good that you have inspirations; over time, if you really care you will develop your own style and it will change as your idea of beauty changes and your level of knowledge of lines and intuition of shadings and use of white space grows. c: mine is, and im so happy ^_^_^
