I actually struggle a lot with picking my favorite because I love aspects of every one like I feel character development in frontier was really good, the mechanics of tamers was amazing and the plot was interesting, the digimon of the second one were so cool esp anything that came from the Veemon line!! And I honestly wanted to be Davis when I was a kid it was a problem. The first one was also really good with character development. I THINK If I had to pick a favorite it would have to be the second one because it's honestly just the one I got into the most when I was younger so it is SO nostalgic for me. I mean I was into the first one as it was releasing also, but the second one I wAS SUPER INTO.

MAN i love meeting other people that enjoy aspects of frontier bc
that one has to be one of my fav seasons in terms of like, the 
digivolution aspect? if i could go and BE a digimon i would actually die happy
thats why i also really liked the biomerge aspect of tamers! plus tamers being a bit
dark/gritty/heavy compared to other seasons is pretty good too
01 is probably my fav tho due to nostalgia reasons and really
being why im so into digimon in the first place!
people always make fun of digimon bc of the more "badass"-ness of the designs ex.
strapping guns to everything and all that but honestly the mech-like and humanoid designs and the more
general freedom compared to other monster tamers franchises when it comes to stylization and
character design really makes digimon fun tbh

frontier doesn't get nearly enough credit!!! Everybody always calls it the worst season because of the lack of digimon partners but who wouldn't want to BE a digimon! And let's be real, how can you complain when we were B L E S S E D with burninggreymon
