Riiiiiing. Riiiiiiiing.
Alfred sat at a cafe somewhere in Canterbury, strumming his fingers against the table. A cute waitress with heavy dimples asked him for his order, and while waiting for the line to pick up he gave it to her.
His cell was a model he'd bought from England to use in here, and while watching the ellipses cross the screen he found himself chuckling giddily.
What would it be like if he could convince Arthur to give him his own personal ringtone? Arthur had one for his, "Let's Dance to Joy Division" by the Wombats. It was a pretty catchy song to play anytime his friend called...too bad that wasn't very often. Not like Alfred cared, no, things were mostly business between them and that was fine. It made the more casual visits more enjoyable, at least when Arthur was acting like a normal human being.
He'd decided on "Gay Bar" when the phone finally clicked; like clockwork the device was shoved against his ear.
"Arthur? Hey, it's me. Got a minute?"

History is another reason why I wanted Arthur ;o;;; I've always only seen wars from America's perspective and that's why I'm making a big history section using my notes from school xD

Amelia grinned as she spotted Arthur. Better yet, Arthur's back to her. She quickly runs behind him before covering his eyes. "Guess whooo ~!" the noisy blonde chimed. Even though she knew that it was pretty obvious, she had fun preforming the childish action nonetheless.

The Brit jumped a bit when he felt a girl's hands suddenly cover his vision. The childish vibe of their voice, God, it only had to be- "Amelia. Why can't you just be like a normal person?" he huffed, the corner of his mouth twitched somewhat. But naturally he refused to smile. The girl needed a bit of discipline, that's all! Arthur's emerald eyes smiled for him though, when he turned to look at the American. Goodness, she was almost as tall as him now, was she? He was still a few inches taller..~ At the thought he stood up just a little straighter, realizing he probably looked short.

"Aww, not even a hello?" she placed her hands on her hips with a pout, but it was more playful than anything. "I thought greeting a lady first is the proper thing to do!" Amelia rolled her eyes slightly, a grin returning to her now. She did notice the way Arthur was adjusting his height, so just to tease him in a way, she stood up taller as well. "And besides! Where would be the fun if I just came up to you 'like a normal person'?" the American imitated his accent.

Arthur huffed when he almost almost had to look up at her but nevertheless replied. "Yes yes, hello. Greeting a lady first is proper when the lady acts like a lady and doesn't sneak up on me first!" Oh look, now she imitated his accent. "I-I don't sound like that!" He crossed his arms, annoyed now.

Almost. Darn so close. Maybe she would be taller than him soon! She grinned more at the thought. "Psh. C'mon dude." Amelia waved a hand dismissively before barking a laugh. "I act like a lady well enough! And besides, your idea of a lady is all stuck up and boring. I'm just keeping it real." and just to aggravate him so more. "I-I don't sound like that!"

Goddammit. Stop it with the height, I'm not that short! He gave a half hearted pout, looking much like a certain southern Italian when he was upset. "No you don't. Not all ladies have to be stuck up to be proper and have manners." Arthur stiffened when she imitated him. Terribly. Again. "I don't sound like that! S-sod off!" he sputtered much to the other's expected enjoyment. His cheeks began to flush in his anger, bright against his pale skin.

I'm not stuck up, but I'm still a lady! Well close enough to one... meh having good manners is for squares anyway." another nod. She was capable of being a lady and she knew that he knew it was damn true! Gringrin smirksmirk, "S-Sod off!--dude, who says that?" the American gigglesnorted.

I am not a bloody tease! He huffed, looking away. "You look like a lady but that doesn't mean you are one. And normally, he wouldn't even dare to consider the idea of talking so roughly with a lady but as he said, Amelia wasn't one. Oh please, wipe that smile off your face. "I do not sound like that! A-and plenty of people in Britain say that! Your "American" way of saying it is too crude!"

Yes. Yes, you are. Denying it makes you look like more of one. Amelia poked his cheek before rolling her eyes again. "I can act like a lady when I want to. Psh, you're just jealous girls at your place aren't like me." yeeeeah that's it. Haha no. Her smirk is just going to increase now. "Hey! I thought I got your accent down pretty bloody good." the American nodded. "Well, my American way is better than what you guys says."
