awwh thank you, although I still have trouble with anatomy, I can always give tips if need ^^' And with photoshop, I gave Rin a sort of brief tutorial round my house last week but if you have photoshop I can always give you tips and little tricks I learnt when using photoshop if you want over the internet ^^ (it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it) (:

drawing males bodies is like drinking bitter tea ¬.¬ ... it is SUCH a PAIN - any tips on those? female i'm fine with but I use the same 'structure' to draw them but longer and more rectangular.. it still looks pretty awkward :/

thing is, I dont really have the digital equipment to do anything (i'm a netbook user *gaspe*), no tablet ect ect.. but I would love to learn >__<

In a way, you're pretty close... but just make sure that you don't make them look completely "robotic" (i still have trouble with that XD ) but yeah, in a way they're just taller, and more 'rectangular' but they still have some sort of "curves". So the basics are the same, you just make it looks more boyish... usually when I draw them I keep in mind how I would imagine them to look and then work from that. They're just not as 'petite'. Usually if you do the anatomy, (for let's say a 17-21 year old) a guy is usually seen as eight heads high (a girl 7 or 7 1/2 head high). Their shoulders are broader, hands bigger, and altogether are broader in form. If you look at a few examples (from a few different mangas or something) and compare, you should be able to get a better idea for it. (I hope that was in some way helpful)

And about the digital equipment, even though I do have a tablet, there are still a few things I learnt through this where I've found that for somethings you don't even have to use a tablet. Just need the software (so like photoshop or paintool sai) and a mouse. If you want I can show you some time or even tell you how to do it over the internet (it really is pretty simple) (:

I think alot of people now classify me as man-perv, seeing as I have loads of male-atonomy in my favourites >__< but i'm getting used to it - I just need to learn how to draw it quicker

Thing is, I'm more into traditional art? But i'll give it a go - i'll just borrow my editors tablet once in a while.. I don't really wanna spend on digital-ness hehee, but I would love to learn! ~(>///<)~

yeah, I used to be like that too.. I still like traditional art, digital art is just another way of doing stuff in my opinion, that's all. Well yeah, you can always learn and plus, you don't really need to spend that much on it all xD
