Favorite books: I'm manly into philosophy and classics, mostly 19th and 20th century writers. Occasionally, good fantasy and sci-fi also.

Tools of the Trade: Digital: photoshop cs6 and Corel Painter/wacom bamboo. Drawing and painting: anything!

At the moment philosophy student in Bologna, Italy, after graduation I'll go back to be an art student <3.I've recently started dabbling with digital art. I mostly draw fanart to improve my skills - big Dragon Age and AsOiaF-GoT addicted, so that's what you'll get most of the time!.

You do know that my so has that last name Braelith as a surname. It is one he had legally changed as his surname and it is copy written so it cannot be used? Go to Google and you will see when you enter that name that he is the only one with that name......and your painting. There was one other person who tried to use it and he had to have her stop.

basically. Sometimes I render more extensively with black and white, like for things that are in very dark settings with deep shadows, and then use color and overlay levels + more and more paint levels, but not very often, it depends on what the work needs.
with close up portraits I usually render more in black and white before colormapping the level and then go on with colour over it, it allows me to focus on the features first without having to mind about getting the right hues right away. I might do another gif with a portrait I'm currently drawing, so keep an eye open!

Btw the university is cheap, it's the living that is impossible. My scolarship money is finished and food is expensive. I've got bills to pay and god only knows how I'll manage ahah
