4th, there are very few 3.5 tables, and i don't have any characters of high enough level to play them, lol.
not to mention that my father in law is going to be in all 4th edition games, and i want to join up with him

Have you seen "The Gamers"? It's an awesome movie on Youtube of these college guys playing their D&D game with live action XD So they're running around in costumes and beating up people on somebody's private property and hiking trails. They have a sequel too, which is also REALLY awesome! YOU MUST WATCH IT.

lol, it's funny you say that, actually, i just finished watching Gamers 2 last night. and yes, it was quite awesom.
i liked the first one better, but only by a little bit. it showed things that really happen when gaming... except for the end part, lol.

sorry, i meant to reply earlier but we're switching over to Comcast and my internet's a little wiggy. anyway, yes, i had tons of fun. the only problem is that i didnt' get many good pictures, there weren't THAT many people Larping there, and the only coolest things were the menagerie of table top games, from Star Trek flotilla battles to pirates besieging early colony Jones town. it was so awesom

and i had SO much fun, and only about 12 hours of sleep for the whole 4 day weekend, lol

Hah, yes, there were quite a few star trek RPGs goign on, one of my friends even said they saw a guy walking around as picard, but i never saw him.

And my games went pretty well, i got two separate characters up to level 3. the only problem i really had with any of the adventures was my last encounter with my Bard, we were on top of a 30 foot tower and there was this big guy who showed up just as we were getting off of the "tenser's-floating-elevator-thing" when he hit us with this blast that was supposed to shoot us off of the tower. well, as luck would have it, i was the ONLY character to get swatted off of the tower, and i was the HEALER, lol. Sadly, though, one character did actually get killed outright before i got back up the tower T-T. we all chipped in 100 gold to revive him.

and MAN do i love playing a Paladin.
Example: we came across this suspicious clearing in the woods after following some goblin tracks. everyone else starts rolling perception checks and trying to find anything they can in the area. Well, being the 2nd level Paladin with a 24 AC, i just walked into the clearing. The GM said
"ok, stop right there, what was your perception check?"
"oh, i didn't throw one."
"... oh... ok well you fall down a 20 foot pit" I fall, see an enemy, have a move and a minor action left. so i stand, and challenge the goblin at the bottom of the pit to fight me, everyone rolls initiative.



So! on a more important note, i was at church today, and one of my fiends comes up to me and starts showing me this book with all of these comics in it. and i start paging through when all of a sudden... i see your comic! it looked great! did you only have time to finish the first four (or so) pages? i really love how it turned out :3

We saw an amazing Riker at Fanime along with Picard and female interests. That's so funny though. Star Treg RPGs! I didn't expect people to be playing that, but perhaps I should've known better since the new movie just came out and all.

XD It's always the bard. We are the "expendable ones" so of course we're going to get the blunt effect of all the super huge really awesome special attacks from the enemy. I had a bard who was cornered by three griffens and nearly mauled to death while the rest of the party ran by and hid inside an inn. It was just my luck that I was pressed against a wall near an alleyway so that the party cleric came and rescued me. BUT SRSLY. That is an awesome adventure, to fall off a tower! XD And that's also pretty sad when a party's main healer is a bard.

AHAHAHA *HIGH FIVE* THAT ROCKS. I have never run a Paladin before but that sounds ridiculously fun to be reckless and totally awesome at the same time. Usually its reckless and totally not awesome when I try moves like that. That's so cool though!

AND WHAT THE HOLY CHRIST ON A CRACKER. AHAHAHA YOU SAW OUR ANTHOLOGY?! WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR FRIEND AND WHERE DID HE GET IT. (woah, small world) But yeah, I only had time enough to finish those four pages before I had to turn in my stuff. I will be finishing it this summer, though. So look out for it on DA! 8D

the name of my friend is Jessica Wheeler. She wanted to show me her teacher's stuff, but after looking through that i paged through the whole book and saw your comic, it took me all of 5 seconds to remember where i'd seen it, lol. and yeah, small world for sure! i never even imagined that you two could have been in the same art class, it was really cool to just run into your art like that!

Lol, your party left you? why the heck would they do that? aside from the tower thing, nothing like that ever happened to me... but i guess that at Kublacon i got into some really good groups lol. even though we rarely all knew each other we always managed to work well as a team. i guess i've been ruined by good luck! XD

and yes, Playing a paladin is great fun! all you have to remember is that it's not your job to hit or damage anything EVER. it's your job to just stand there and soak up the hits from all of the baddies like a the giant, armor plated, sponge you are, lol

So, how long do you think it'll take you to finish up your comic? i'm really looking forward to reading it!

lol, awesome! i've been playing videogames a lot lately too, (especially today, since it's my birthday and i can use that as an excuse to be lazy) i'm determined to get to the top of the tower in SotC, i never did. sadly though i can't find the memory card with my old save data so i'll have to beat it atleast twice to be able to get to the top. but that's ok, it's always fun to play XD

I did. 8'D It's pretty crazy at the top of the tower. It certainly is satisfying. I did it several times and yes, you must defeat it at least twice. But that's easy to do once you get into the swing of it. I love that game so much. DX holy shit. If there was a game I would worship. It would be that game.
