what beter place to start than in an oct? Not only that, but you could write it out too.... think of it this way, imagine your character is your friend, or somebody you know (apply a personality you know to a made up character) and throw that guy/girl into a hectic situation. that's all there is to it.

I was actually about to make a comment on your profile when I saw that i had a message.
I come up with character every single moment of my life. I really do. I mean, you know youre a douchebag when you have a blog. Well I have 11.[link] (if youre ever bored, try reading My stories OTP, Borderline, Killjoy or Godchild. Those are the only ones that at least have a certain structure.
Anyway, I checked out the oct, and now Im really pumped about it! Just reading the rules I already had 3 characters in mind, plus my own Yadow character.
I even played out different scenarios in my head. What I was gonna ask you was the following:
* Can you submit more than 1 character? Can more than 1 character be accepted?
* I saw that submissions could be comics or animations. If it is a comic, could it be more than one page? I was actually considering trying my hand at some animations, and if it worked, perhaps submit animations......
Even if I do not participate in this, I will certainly participate in future octs. As I type, I am trying to get some drawing skills back, seeing as I havent drawn in over 7 months.

you can have between 1 and 4 characters, and your entries can be as long or short as you want... I'm mixing literature with comics for my entries, so they can be in whatever medium you want too.
QDB gives the competitor a lot of freedom, which you would be hard pressed to find in other bland and traditionally uninventive, bland, and boring octs...
in other words, i highly recommend this one... but don't feel forced.
