Yeah definitely, Spring break is much needed! Advertising illo, sketchbook, and children's book. I'm excited for all of em, just hoping that having all studios won't consume me haha. What are you taking?

Sketchbook is an amazing class. I loved it.
I hear Jess is taking that too. It's a ton of work (more than illustration classes) but I felt like I improved 100 times since being in that class.
I'm taking Book, Vector illustration and 18th century english caricature and satire art history.
Can't wait to just relax for two weeks without having to move, this quarter has been really draining.
Taking advertising with Vargo?

Dang, I was hoping sketchbook would be my less demanding class. Oh well, guess I'll just have no life next quarter.

Cool! Man vector would probably be a handy thing to learn. I just have no patience for it. That satire art history class sounds really interesting! And yup, I haven't taken him before but I hear a lot of good things.

I thought it would have been, but alas, I spent many a night pouring over my pages. But you never meet in the classroom, which was really cool. the class environment is good, and the format of the sketchbook you make is perfect, plus the professor is adorable.
I need to learn illustrator, it's like learning how to use a computer again for the first time haha.

I'm here, but it gives me lots and lots of time to paint, I just got so burnt out on class stuff I needed to just...draw and paint whatever I wanted. Nice to have a break. I saw you're been breaking the oils out, how's that going?

Cool that's great! Time to paint is wonderful. I missed it really. It's going good! I was just doing some oils today actually. I think I'll try and have another gallery show by next year. I figure if I'm doing oils for it, best get started now. Plus painting just makes me happy haha, so it's good. I was never really formally taught with em either, so I'm learning a lot as I go haha.

I hope so too. Most definitely, if I go long without art I feel out of sorts. You should certainly try it if you get the chance! Its a long arduous process and I have no idea what I'm doing haha, but it's fun to play around. Sorry I took forever to respond. Yeahh classes are good, first week went by swell.

I know right? I already have been a bit sleep deprived and never seem to have enough time. Uhhggg. But I'm really liking sketchbook! I was just finishing one for the first assignment actually. It's pretty fun. And most definitely! I have so many sketches and pieces around my room. It's getting ridiculously cluttered, I'd be happy to give you one in exchange for something of yours.
