I would enjoy teaching you how to color digitally, but I'm only really good at cel-style, hurff. >w<;; I'm only just starting to experiment with the "painted" style myself. Do you have a computer art tablet~?

I have never tried to draw the Slayers characters for fear of ruining them! D: I watched all three of the original seasons, but it was a long time ago... And I watched it in English for the lulz. I mucho <3 Xellos and Zelgadis!!! XD I never watched the new Revolution(?) season of Slayers because I heard that it was an atrocity to the original run. One of my favorite animes is Gurren Lagann~!!! <3 <3 <3

I do have a tablet, but it's a cheapy, hand-me-down one that I am not very familiar with yet... Yikes... :/

Oh maaaannnn, I remember when I first saw The Slayers, it was all on VHS and the only language available was English. XD But LUCKILY the cast for the ENG version isn't bad. Though I love Amelia, I gotta say... I only really disliked her and Xelloss' ENG voice actors. Of course, nothing beats their original Japanese voices. I melt at Akira Ishida's voice. Oh baby~

Xelloss is my fav., too~! ^-^ <33 And Zelgadis just makes me laugh... His personality is so out of place in the Slayers universe it's hilarious. But in any other Anime he'd work perfectly.

The new season isn't actually very bad. In fact, it's better than the third season, The Slayers TRY. It's loosely based on events from the novels and manga, too. The only big differences are the art style, now digital, and how the story unfolds in two arcs rather than one. Of course, like all hardcore fans there are some disappointments, but after you've watched the fourth/fifth season(s) with me we can discuss those~!

I haven't seen Gurren Lagann, but have heard awesome things about it. : D

THAT'S A-OKAY. Any tablet is better than no tablet~!!! It only takes one picture from full start to finish (in one round) to get the hang of a tablet. And after a while you start hating actual paper, fuuu... 9v9;; No ctrl+z~!

I think black hair and rich, dark blue eyes is gorgeous, like in my Mister Fancy Pants picture~ Though his hair is more brown, black works just as well. : D

Yeah I think green eyes and black hair is hot, but Serena has green eyes, so that's a no-no. Only my main character gets green eyes. O_o Yeah I'm leaning towards blue too... I think really dark hair and vibrant true-blue eyes is reeeeally pretty. My only issue with it is that Auz's elemental power is fire... so the red eyes made sense. Snd Serena's is water, so the green eyes make sense...
But, whatev. The eye color really has nothing to do with the power. I just liked that they coincidentally had eye colors that matched their element... Gelding too, for that matter. He has grey eyes and his element is ground O_o Sapphire's eyes were purple though and that's got nothing to do with lightning xD
Gads I have to change her and Sakura's eyes too. I'm thinking really dark blue for Sakura since they were violet, and hazel for Sapphire since her eyes were lavender.
Hmm... I guess I'll make a colored piece of each of them to see if the new colors work for me > m<

But, usually in video games lightning is represented by the color purple~! Like in WoW, Final Fantasy, and even Norrath. XD

And violet eyes can occur in real life~ So maybe Sakura's eye are okay. : D

But yah, the easiest way to tell might be to color them and see.

Purple eyes occur in real life? Rlly? Weird. Yeah I guess purple does kinda work for lightning. Well crap. All their eye colors were in-advertently perfectly matched to their element. Ah well... red still doesn't make sense.
Wow! Bizzare. I looked up the purple eyes disorder thing. If it ever did exist... those people were like... superhuman O_o It's called Alexandria's Genesis. Man, if you ever wanted to breed a super-race that would be the way to do it. Let's find these people and start a program xD
Wooow... So cool. I guess Sakura and Sapphire could keep their purple eyes then. I could make something up in the story... Like, after the crazy cataclysm the disorder started appearing again... Why not?

Yah, I once had a book of eyes colors, but I lost it long, long ago. XD It tends to be a sort of lavender-grey in people naturally.

HARR, watch the whole "Aryan" thing happen again, but with purple eyes...
