# About me

My real name is Martin Whittaker, I'm 21 and I live in Cumbria, Northwest England and have currently graduated at The University of York in Historical-Archaeology. I while away my days now in unemployment awaiting my acceptance for a masters, pretentiously reading classics and imagining paintings. Artistically I am a painter (in the loosest way) and have preferred oils, being taught the basics in school; it has been three years since I completed a painting, but that is all to change!

Other than painting occasionally, I am a keen amateur rugby player, reader, and scholar taking a great interest in Tower-houses of the north-west of England hoping to one day construct a full analysis of their relationships with the medieval arable landscape and each other. If I become wise and rich enough hopefully I'll excavate a few in the future!
Due to conscience and doctrinal beliefs I'm a newly converted Roman Catholic from the Church of England.

I have many projects swimming in my mind, from novels and childrens books, to paintings, lets hope
I can use the free time I have to my advantage!

gosh yeah I haven't been on for a while! I just haven't the time to do anything, I think I have major time management problems XD i'm in dissertation mode now for my final year (gone bloomin quick!) so i've just been reading tonnes of stuff. Had a go at painting some things inbetween but their not worthy of putting up here. How are you doing? I'll have a look at your gallery and see whats new! =D (Big Grin)

And I know what you mean, its terrible isn't it, uni life absorbs so much time =p (Razz) I brought my easel to university but I just don't think I'm going to have time to do any oil paintings, its mid season too so their kicking off the assessments XD what do you study?
