I can understand that, I have been pretty busy myself. I have an 8-10 page essay due this Friday and another 3-4 page essay due the Monday after, for example. I still feel like it is worth it too, I like my Psychology course quite a bit. I haven't had to doodle much of anything since December. Those two essays and studying for mid-terms is all I have been up to recently. How about you? What course are you in? Anything interesting going on in your life lately?

Ewww~! I 100% know what that's like. We write a lot of reports here. Oh you're taking psychology? Very cool. I'm in Fish and Wildlife - ridiculously hard work, lots and lots of work but it'll be worth it I think. Depends what you consider interesting. Lol. Oh! I was finally convinced to getting facebook. How did the paper go? If you dislike the idea of double digit papers, though, you should see my technical reports! Some of them are as long as 40 pages. Kind of crazy... Hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end though.

*takes hug* Yeah was a lot of work but it was for a summer project. We had to collect minnows, write about where they were found, their life history, their importance to the environment and how we caught them... so on and so forth. That was the longest one - though there were others that came close. They were usually stream or lake evaluations.

I have been doing well. I passed my psychology exams for second semester with flying colours. It was easily the best grade I got all year. I did some other courses, such as art, for extracurriculars and did okay in them. University/college art courses are a lot more structured then they were in highschool. Anyways, how did you do this year in school? What are you doing now, taking a third semester in a row or working or just relaxing?

I'm taking a break and doing some work to gain extra funds. Doing a basic 8-5 desk jockey job, paperwork isn't as bad as the internet made it out to be. Sure, it is repeatitive but I am fine with that so long I have something to listen to. The pay is good and the co-workers are nice and friendly. The workplace isnt as scary a place as I used to think it was, but that might just be because this is my second summer of doing such work.

You doing alright? Are you going to do some sketching this summer. I know I will, heck I even got some canvas to paint on when I get that urge this summer. Beyond that, I have been working on a story over at Sufficent Velocity. Hope that you are doing well.

Congrats! Getting your best grade on an exam is a pretty great achievement! M marks have been pretty down this year but its not just me. The last year of my course (the optional 3rd year) is hard as anything. I haven't taken an art course in years! Man I really miss painting and drawing and sculpting. I mean I can draw at home but I don't have much to draw or paint on... Though I am making a custom insert for a lizard terrarium (since I'm going to start breeding Leopard Geckos in the next year or so)!

Yeah, I'm taking a break too. I plan to go back to school but I needed a year off. I'm trying to find work so I can save up money and fund a few of my own personal projects as well as pay for my car and schooling. Office work can suck but a job is a job and you reap the benefits no matter what. You get money, you get experience and you can start networking. It's all an opportunity. I'm glad to hear you're feeling comfortable in the working world.

I'm doing alright. Could be better, could be worse. BUT I do plan on doing some drawing this year. Only thing I've posted so far is: wolfstale.deviantart.com/art/B… but I have 2 more pictures of that character underway (one with a skrill and one with 2 speed stingers) then I might draw some dinosaurs or something to get into the "Jurassic World" mood (since me and my old college roommate are planning a dinosaur themed party for her birthday), then I've always wanted to do a Warrior Cat fan comic so... we'll see how lazy I am. lol. I can't wait to see some of your new art though! You should definitely post them when you're done.

Will do, especially since I plan to do some fanart for the story I have been working on. I can't wait to see just what you get up to over the summer. I have missed seeing your work, you do it really well. I like the Skrills from HtTYD quite a bit too, though I have found myself liking the Scauldrons just as much, even if I would like them more without wings. I am looking forward to seeing just what you will do with the Skrill and Speed Stingers.  

In regards to the potential dinosaur sketchs, I have been thinking of doing some myself. Part of me wants to offer to draw a dinosaur for ever dino you draw, but then we would probably end up locked in a who could outdo who kind of thing up to the point of one of us burning out their art muse. Have fun with the Warrior Cat comics, I look forward to the opportunity to read them.

I found out that some Dollaramas actually see cheap canvas, one to three dollars each, in case you want to try getting some. The arcylic paints they sell their are pretty cheap too, as are the paint brushes. If you don't want to use the canvas they use at Dollarama, they also sell some wood signs you could do some painting on. Really good presents for when you need to go cheap since they mean more and can be personalized for the person you are giving it to.

Well you might not have to wait long. I'm almost done, well maybe halfway done, the one with Breck and her Skrill. The Strike Class is my favorite dragon class, though it's very closely followed by the Sharp Class. That's why Breck has a Strike Class (Skrill) as her partner and my other OC (well one of them) has a Sharp Class Dragon (Stormcutter). I'd draw him too but I've never been successful in drawing that character. :/ Maybe I'll draw my character from my fan fiction though (one day).

Lol that might be true, might be fun though... BUT I don't know if my drawing would be cheating or not. The one I just finished coloring is a herd of Iguanodon and their line art are all the same but there are 5 individuals. Plus I already have Cookie uploaded here, she's my Ceratosaurus OC. Thanks. I've been thinking about a plot for it for a long time now but maybe I'll finally get around to making a comic and not being lazy... Though every time I start it I don't like it... I have the rest of the story just no compelling intro...

I have only really started to work on it, but think Jurassic Park from a dinosaur's point of view. Then place the dinosaur, as of yet to be determined what kind, as a hatchling onto the wilds of Isla Sorna a few weeks before the events of the movie take place. The rest of the story is going to be watching through this creature's eyes as it grows up and lives out the rest of it's 'natural' life. The format of the story plays out more like a choose-your-own-adventure story because I am having the readers vote for what the dino does next. 

Before you buy that paint, make sure that it is animal-friendly. It would suck if you put all that work and effort into making those terrarium inserts only for them to be harmful to the intended users. Anyways, about that intro... I always found that borrowing something from another source to be really helpful when it came to writing my intros. Maybe you could borrow an intro style from one of the more popular comics on dA, like Africa, or one of your preferred movies. Heck, maybe you could start by slowly zooming in on the protagonist in a dramatic manner, with your own little twist at the end.

Oh that sounds awesome! I love the whole "reader chooses the path" thing. I thought about writing one of those myself based off an RP a friend of mine and I have, but 1) I'm lazy 2) dunno if I'd be able to get enough readers that voting is worth while. I'm a total Jurassic Park fan, as I'm sure you can tell. There are so many wrong facts in those movies but I love them all the same. xD In fact I'm such a Jurrassic Park nerd that my ex-roommate and I are having a Dino-themed party before we go to see Jurassic World.

Oh no worries, there's a non-toxic, animal save, semi-water-resistant sealant coat that will be going over the potentially toxic acrylic paint and foam that makes up the structure. Trust me I did a ton of research and I know what I'm doing. Actually that site you found is one of my personal favorites. They do amazing work. I've watched all of their videos on YouTube (many of them I've watched twice or more). Though I'll be working with pink insulating foam and not Styrofoam. I find it's easier to carve /  work with. I'm not an idiot, my animal's health and safety comes first. I'd be a horrible owner/breeder if I didn't do my homework.

Leopard Geckos are happy in any tank 10+ gallons and I would buy 15 gallon tanks for them but since I already have a 10 gallon tank I am going to use that so I wanted to maximize the space for the lizard - that's why I want to make a custom insert. More layers = more surface area = more space

Yeah, I like to be individual, though. Beginnings are important, they are what hooks or looses new readers. I want to start when the protagonist is a kit or an apprentice but I don't really have a plot for it... I might even start just before they are born, focusing on their parents and clan... Hopefully I can think of something good... :/

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I was inspired to do the "reader chooses the path" thing due to some of the stories over on the Sufficent Velocity site. It's nice to hear that your a fellow Jurassic Park fan, I have been watching the movies since I was in kindergarten. There might be some faulty facts in the movie, but then it's not like they could get everything right with the knowledge they had available at the time. They still got quite a bit right, which is always good. Are you having that Dino-theme party sometime soon, or have you already gone to see Jurassic World? I have been to see it already and thought that it was great. 

Its great eat to hear that you have already thought the leopard gecko thing over so much. I do trust you. I never did think you were an idiot, your too smart for that. the fact that you want to maximize space is always a good smart thing too. I'm sure that you will think of something good for your comic. Here's to inspiration finding you easily. 

Oh, I finished the first chapter yesterday after I closed the voting for what dinosaur my readers could be. They ended up choosing the classic JP raptors. I finished sketching up a sketch for it yesterday that I'll put up later today at some point. Oh as it turns out, I didn't end up taking the job unfortunately so I'm with you and still looking! It was waitressing at a restaurant but the environment was very stressful (the patrons were grumpy old people and the chef was downright disgustingly rude to me) so I got the heck out of there. I'm just dropping my CV's in at any close cafe's at the moment hoping I get another bite. Sounds like you need money worse then me! I just got a car (really old, run down diesel ute that I actually already love even though it's a pile of garbage) and already i'm like yiiick at the thought of the expenses. I'm still getting my drivers license so at least I have time to stockpile a bit of cash for when I really start driving. As for video games... I have to admit I'm slightly obsessed with sims at the moment ahahaha it's pathetic. Ooo lizards! Exciting!

I know right?! I've tried getting in touch with someone who wanted a rider to exercise their young horses that are newly trained (a 4 year old Quarter horse and 4 year old Tennessee Walker) but they never returned my email. I mean it isn't like I haven't worked with young or difficult animals before. Oh well... If I get a job I'm going to ask someone locally if they are willing to lease their horse to me. He's currently up for sale but she's only selling him because she's pregnant so she might let me lease him instead of buy him. I mean I love him. Watched a few videos and looked at his pictures - he's beautiful! Looks like he's a handful and he's smaller than I'd normally like (only 15 hands) but there's just something about him.

Unfortunately I think I might need to pull off of that site. I really want to RP Diem, Sere and Pasquale again but my site takes priority. My two co-admins (1 was the founder of the site and the other was my coder) quit so I'm the only admin left standing. I have one mod but that's all I got... I'm running in circles trying to keep it a float. I don't even have time to RP on my own site - I'm just doing staff crap! Ugh... Plus trying to find a job and keeping myself sane...

Yeah, I need money, lol. I'm going so crazy! no job = no money = lots of free time but can't afford to actually do anything to enjoy it. I love my car! I love working with younger horses, but I also like enjoying riding If you get a good young horse with a good brain, it's the best thing, but nutty green horses are like, a no go for me. I'm like the opposite to you, I freakin' love little horses. Pony size is the best size for me, mostly because I have tiny legs. I struggle to get my legs past the saddle flaps on my 16.3hh boy, which is why I ride him bareback like, 100% of the time. 

Oh, bummer! I hope you find some balance- have you tried getting staff from the site? Lots of people like being staff. If you want an outlet feel free to RP with me here )) I won't mind. I might just take centuries to reply. 

Oh my goodness! Awesome! Thank goodness for grandparents What kind of car is it? Simssss is my favorite thing in the universe. I have Sims 3, but I really want to get the expansion pack so I can get horseys > I haven't played skyrim in so frickin long omg, but I've recently been getting into fable again. I tried playing that game but it glitched way too hard on my laptop (I like, couldn't enter places lmao). It looks so fuuuun though. What kind of dragon is she?

Lol well the horses she was offering to have ridden were a Quarter Horse and a Tennessee Walker. QH are usually pretty calm and level headed even at a young age, but the TW could be a handful. It would be kind of a "best of both worlds" experience I think... Though she never got back to me so she probably found someone else.

Yeah, I'm short too but I have steady legs and proportionally my legs are long which means I can ride big horses even though I'm little. Of course being little I can ride ponies too. Like I said I prefer larger horses (16+ hh) but I do love ponies but not because of their size - because of their attitudes! lol.

I have, yeah. I got one mod off of my site but I'd like to have 2 more and maybe get another admin to help me out. It's almost so stressful I don't really enjoy the RPing. I mean I do but I often end up wondering if it's worth it... I would love a break - I mean I will go down with my How To Train Your Dragons fandom but "too much of a good thing" and all that. You couldn't possibly take as long as my last Co-adim Dae did. One of the most brilliant RPers I've ever RPed with buuuut.... slow. I 100% don't blame him but I miss him (he quit the site a while back)

I LOVE Sims 3! I heard bad things about Sims 4 but 3 is great! I have the pet expansion pack - so worth it! I have a fantasy expansion pack too. You can get a unicorn or become a werewolf or vampire or ghost or fairy. I am constantly creating new families. Skyrim is definitely long but that's the reason I love it, it is a completely open world. School of Dragons is so much fun! Like I said, totally glitchy but really fun. You should try it again or make a new account. I use it on my laptop. I have one character and she has 6 dragons about to be 7 in a few days. I'm taking this year off so I have a full year to get my life together - lol. The car is a great thing for sure, now I just need to get my 2 lizards, their equipment and a job xD

Bummer Sounds like it could have been ideal! My greenie is very lame currently, and considering he's never been sound, despite all the vet checks we think it must be something more major. I'm thinking shoulder injury which is a massive issue. He's such a lovely sweet guy- if he has to be put down it's going to break my heart. Best case scenario would be if it is fixable, but also a good one is he's not in pain and I can give him away as a paddock mate.

I wish I had long legs! On my big guy, in a saddle I can barely get anything more then my ankle on him lmao. Yes pony attitudes are the besssstttt. 

Hit me up then if you ever want to RP and I'll be keen if you don't mind the wait I'll be super rusty though. The only thing I write is essays (and even those not as much lately haha i'm such a slacker) It really sucks when you get so stressed out you can't RP, particularly with a site. I've modded on a few different places and yeah, all the staff stuff makes it especially hard to write when you don't have much time in the first place.

Same it's so fun! I just love making the houses and sims. And then I do cheats until they're all happy and then I can play with the pets. My friend recently lent me the pets expansion and omg i love it so much. I wish the ponies had more variety tho haha. Oh I might have to try it again! It looked so cool- maybe it might be less glitchy. I'll let you know if I get around to it! All your dragons are prettyyyy. I love dragons. I use to be obsessed with the Eragon trilogy.

I was actually going to suggest that. If you can't ride him you could always retire him. There are lots of loving horse shelters that let wounded horses like your baby live long happy lives despite their flaws. I wish him the best though. I used to know an amazing horse, beautiful mover and potential dressage (even maybe jumper) champion but he had navicular so he could only be ridden once in a blue moon. Unfortunately I haven't seen that horse in a long time so I don't know what happened to him. They probably gave him something to ease the pain and retired him.

Lol, yeah, like I said I'm a shorty but I have long legs so I can ride the big guys and the little guys. My baby was 6'1 hh, maybe 6'2 hh (believe it or not he was a pure breed quarter horse) but I also trained the ponies. Which is where my love for their spunk comes in. They crack me up. We had one that would take off at a run after every jump, one that would drop his shoulder and send new riders rolling off onto the ground if they didn't pay attention and a pony who's fastest speed was a shamble. xD

Lol, don't worry my RP skills are so not what they used to be! xD I used to write awesome long descriptive posts but lately it's like a 2 - 3 paragraph maximum. My only high muse character recently has been Ratatosk (my Night Fury OC) but my site is falling apart. Like you said being staff is murdering my muse... plus I cannot find more staff to save my freaking life! Oh well. What would you be interested in RPing?

I don't have any time for horses even. I haven't gone riding in 3 years! THREE FREAKING YEARS!! I'm going crazy! Once I'm into summer / my year off though I'm going to take lessons again. :3 ... That is assuming I can find a job. lol.

Hee hee, that's another thing I'll be getting back into once I've officially started my time off - RPing. I've got a site I'm suppose to be running plus I want to get Diem, Sere and Pasquale resurrected.

I'm not too bad. Could be better, could be worse to be entirely honest. I'm outta school now so I desperately need a job during my year off (before I go back for university). I want to get my car on the road (can do that without a job/money), I wanna buy a few video games (haven't played them in a year), get horse back riding lessons AND buy 2 lizards (since I wanna start a breeding project) THEN I need to save up to pay for my next step in school... All I have it one year! ugh.
