No problem I can relate in some ways. It is a lot like I used to feel. But the writing is very good. It was very eloquently put and the flow was really good. Very well put together all and all.

when ever i talk to people they say im funny, they go as far to say that the only things i ever say are jokes. i find it hard to talk about the child abuse i surivived, the mental scars of depression i live with so i write, it means so much that u think i have some talent, that makes me feel that mayby the way i view myself is wrong, sorry for the ramble, but works over and i didnt want to go straight home to my isolation

Nah, you're not funny. You're a writer. Its something to be proud of. They're not going to understand, they're probably not worth the effort of trying to convince them of anything important. Its never going to be easy, but after opening up and having a good cry, you might feel better. Its not the way you view yourself, its how others taught you to view yourself. If you can overlook what you taught and start again, then you can finally be free of the past. Its perfectly ok hun, I feel right at home with ramblers (I'm one too ) I'm always here if you wanna talk about anything. (I'm sure you've heard that a million times but I really am always here to listen.)

sorry but here i go, my father raped me and when people found out they started distrusting me rather then my father, mum died and i lost contact with my step father and his famil, for the last 6years i have been on my own, i try to tell people how i feel but they label me as funny or the ones i open up to label me as depressed, i self harm to battle the thoughts of killing myself, i dont think i will ever kill myself but the thoughts are always there, poetry is my outlet for the people i met dont understand, my main problem is that people pointed at me and said that i would become my father, someone that hurts kids, i want to have a family and raise kids with love and respect but i fear the judgement i will recieve, if someone is raped they will eventually rape, so what others think stops me from trying to have a husband and kids, oh yeah im gay too, another reason people stare, laught and point, told u i ramble

You call that rambling? You're better than me on a good day. That doesn't mean you're gonna turn into your father. Some people just turn something like that into the only bond they know and thats why they do it to others, but you won't do that. You know that there are other ways to connect with people and even though they don't wanna connect with you, you still try. That really says something after all you've been through. There are other ways, it takes some time but you can find something to live for or at least something that might be worth living for. My cat kept me going for quite a few years. If you want it, who says you can't have it? Of all the millions of people in the world, there will be someone who wants the same thing you do. I got the feeling you were a male, it threw me off when you said husband there. Whats wrong with being gay exactly? Nothing. People are just stupid. I bash people for being straight when they bash me for being bi.
