# About me
I have always loved to draw and I've been doing so since I could hold a crayon. It's always been on of my favorite hobbys. I have always drawn on everything, notes, my arms, my friends, etc. Only recently I have decided to be more serious about my art. I try to draw a little every day or every other day. And although life and work especially, seem to have other ideas for me, I have been improving.I mostly draw tattoo designs. I have always been fascinated by tattoos even though I did not have any of my own until well into my twenties (one of which I drew myself). I've always drawn temporary ones on myself and my friends. And over the years many people have told me I should be a tattoo artist. I've finally taken the hint. So although I don't actually tattoo, (I have looked into tattoo apprenticeships and that's something I'd love to do) I can at least design them; and I do.
To build my art portfolio and continue to improve my work I current spend a good deal of time on createmytattoo.com where I can browse tattoo design contests and I enter them all the time. I've actually won a couple, much to my surprise. In addition to CMT, I also do tattoos for friends and family as well as myself.
As far as the tools I use, when I design I mostly use basic pencil and paper to sketch out the designs and ink and art markers to color. I don't have a specific art marker brand that I'm partial to. I have Prismacolors, Dick Blick Brand Studio Markers, and a mix of Copic Sketch, Originals, and Ciaos. There's also probably a Letraset Promarker or two in there as well. I find that each brand has its own pros and cons so I won't ever argue that one single brand is the way to go. I like them all.
Anyway, if you like what you see around here stop in and say 'Hi' or give me a fave or a watch. If you would like to talk to me about designing a tattoo, send me a note and I'll let you know my availability and we'll see what we can come up with.

You are so welcome! The whole piece is brilliant, but that moon! The detail on that moon is just gorgeous. I stared at it for quite a while.

Of course! I love your shading, man. The fire around the skull in the middle of your skull flash sheet is beautiful! I still haven't quite figured out fire with colored pencils yet. But I'm definitely keeping an eye out for future stuff from you. And thanks! ^__^
