I see you debate a lot on your DA account, that's very admirable that you try to understand everyone's opinions and point of view to have a global view. Not many peoples have that talent (including I, sometimes, mostly because I'm too passionate).
It's always a good thing to have mediators like you who can bring us down from our high horses and make us calm down.

I don't think I've made a journal on veganism yet. What I don't really like about it is something that is completely separate from the healthy dietary choice part of the issue.
I might go in depth about tif you want, but overall, I don't have anything against going vegan because of heath related reasons.

I know what you mean, but think about this: in each and every social and thinking group, there are always a bunch who do it mostly for the attention; they're not really "vegans" or "liberals" (as a common example), they're attention whores, nothing more and nothing less. Ignore these losers, if you talk about them or even think about them, they will win.

Vegans don't eat animal products, so they in a way boycott the meat industry. They're not extremists. I'm not a vegan but i don't see vegans as being evil or annoying or anything, on the contrary; they usually emanate and try to educate and help people by teaching them about their very healthy diet and lifestyle.

*PS, I think that going vegetarian is better than going vegan. Mainly because vegetarians still have a reliable source of protein.*

I agree; eggs and milk are pretty nutritious! As a vegan you need to eat a lot of legumes and beans and vegetable protein, which is not as effective as animal protein in the maintenance of bodily muscle mass and metabolism.
