Welcome to my DeviantArt page.

My name is Dion van der Wee. In the summer of 2017 I started drawing again after 20 years of barely having touched a pencil. This is when I discovered charcoal as well, and I love it!
I do mostly portraits, and all my drawings are free-hand drawn, no grid, ruler or tracing methods are used. I realise that when you do use these methods the result can be more realistic, however I like the challenge and train my eye in reproducing what I see.
Please feel free to take a look at my gallery, comment on my drawings or even critique them. I always reply and I am open to constructive criticism.
