Ha, no problem at all - and well, you make it work very well indeed! ^^
Personally I have a tendency to fling blue at everything, as well as similar colours like bluish-green etc - but I have to try to push myself outside of that often enough that my gallery doesn't become a dump of blue, haha.

Nothing wrong with loving cooler colors. I should be more mainstream with more realistic shades myself but i'm stuck on embracing the near psychedelic ones. Your mountain scenes look great BTW.

Ha, true, they will always be my "true love" in terms of colourschemes, though I do want to add some more diversity and learn to work with more colours and contrasts. And well, I think they look great and also show a lot of skill since it's not easy to use so many colours and still show shading, and make the colours work nicely together. ^^
And ha! NEVER be more mainstream, the world needs creativity and originality, "mainstream" is by definition something we have too much of already.
Your works stand out, and I like that, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
Do what you enjoy, and only experiment if you want, but go with your own instincts. ^^
And ahh, thankyou! I still think they need a lot of work and have a looooong way to go, but glad you like them! ^^

Maybe the original is not that big and it would lose too much resolution if enlarged more.  Still, if you ordered a 10x12 print, took it to FedEx Office and enlarged 10% onto a 11x17 gloss-text sheet, that'd be 11x14.2", you could get a custom double mat made with approx. 2.5" border per side (go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby), and slip it in a standard 16x20 frame. It's not that too-too-small.

Thank you <3 I have very enthusiastic muses to work with, which helps a lot XD Color is my comfort zone (except for skin. I'm still terrible at skin). I really like your aliens. A lot of detail but not crammed in. One is able to notice something new every time you look at them

I'm glad you like them! More races are coming soon (I hope). I have about a hundred races in pencil to paint up. Yeah to me color is everything and I just love to fave colorful creations over ones that look monochrome & painted with tobacco juice. Welcome!

OwO That's so freaking many. I just have my Blood demons as far as original species go XD Color is a wonderful soul soothing thing. The thing about monochrome is it shows all a person's strengths and weaknesses in light and shadow. It's good to practice but not always as nice to look at.
