STEVEN UNIVERSE IS MY LIIIIIIIIIFFFEE...honestly Ruby...it's just this cute little cartoon show but recently it's been getting so ...WAHH I CANT EVEN EXPLAIN....and it's ridiculously representative; there's so many POC characters and voice actors and the finale just had the first ever queer kiss in a children's show (on Cartoon Network at least, I'm not sure about others) and I am STILL squealing about it....also it has amazing songs in it and I've literally been listening to this one since the episode came out (my listenonrepeat counter says I've played it 235 times )

Ah, I thought you might have spring break a week earlier than me, but I wasn't sure. I'm on spring break now though! Honestly, all I've been doing and am planning to do is just relax a bit. Sounds lazy, but jeeez, I've been needing it badly.

And yeahh... I actually would have graduated... last year, I think? Or maybe the year before. Anyway, I would have graduated then if my mum hadn't chucked me down a hole for nine years of my life. XD
But actually in a way I'm kind of grateful for that, too....I mean, there are some aspects of myself I wish I could fix(severe social awkwardness... ugh... I seriously have no idea how to interact with people, you have no idea) but actually for the most part I love myself the way I am and I know I'd be different if I hadn't lived the life I did. Not to mention the fact that I wouldn't know you or any of my other best mates, and that would just be awful! And my school, even though people outside of it look at as an "at-risk" or "trouble-maker" school and whatever, is just amazing. No, seriously. It's a lot more hands-on and the teachers are really dedicated to their students' success, plus the atmosphere is a lot more.... uplifting, I guess? Anyway, the thing is, I wouldn't be going there if I didn't have a lot of stuff to make up for. So yeah, I may have a few kinks to iron out and I'll be graduating at 20 or 21, but honestly.... I'm fine with that. I'm not ready to graduate yet. I definitely wouldn't have been ready at seventeen, good grief, the idea of that freaks me out.
Yeah. Homeschooling. Simultaneously the worst and best thing that ever happened to me. XD

Wow, that's crazy! How many chapters do you have planned, anyway? I really liked what I read of Obsidian Sun... but I think I only got to chapter four? Haha, I'll have a lot of catching up to do once you release it. x3

Ever. The author died in 2011. :c I think i'll try to save it for the next 20 years before i actually start reading it. or maybe i'll keep it for a dark time. but i can't just sit down and read it NOW, thats for sure.

Heh, that's a bit of an understatement. With this series, it's like... the last of my life. then it'll be over. i'll never get to read new words from my favourite human being ever... unless i stray to her other books, which of course i will eventually, but i know it wont be the same.
It's not actually a series, i just like to call it then for ease of explanation. It's a collection of books all involving the same character, and others that reappear in some. I guess you could call them the Chrestomanci books. They're by Diana Wynne Jones, the same person who wrote Howl's Moving Castle. (i dont know if you watch ghibli movies, but yeah, that movie was based on her book.)

UGHHH. I cannot stand for it when people act like that. I mean, making fun of good music aside, are the homophobic slurs necessary? Ugh.

 (Yeah u know!! I feel the same about being twenty years old as i did when i was six- a far-off impossibility. it feels so impossible that i often think i'll die before reaching that age. not a left time to die, though. I'll probably make it, which is scary.)

Heard the name from that movie when I was young, somehow got the idea that it was a Russian name(?!!?!?!?!).... years later, I need a name for this Russian character of mine, and "hey, that's a cool name! It's perfect!"
Durrr. "Nicodemus Zsen". Not even REMOTELY a Russian name. Neither is Reyna Feill, the other Russian character. But hey, what can I say? At the time of their creation, I was, what... twelve? xP

Pfff, I don't think so. But at least it has a name at all. Far too many of my stories are sitting around as "Untitled1", "Untitled2", "Untitled3", "VERY-DEFINITELY-TEMP-NAME_01", and so on.
I can never come up with names for my stuffs. D:

I just mean that I didn't actually really take it from there necessarily, it was more that I just heard the name there, it sat around in my brain for a few years, and one day I needed a name and that one came up. I only realized it was from NIMH much later.

Naaaah! I mean, I know not all Russian surnames end in "-ov", "-sky" "-yev" and so on, but even if I were to stick one of those endings onto them, both Zsen and Feill would be pretty out of place, and I freely admit it.
I mean, after all, this is coming from someone who has characters named "Goosewing", "Crowpaw", and "Burdocktail"... on a tropical island. x3

I only have a vague idea on Duality so far. Mostly I know that i want it be be... sort of shiver-inducing, creepy but without reason. like, it keeps you awake at night but you cant quite figure out WHY. i want it to have that sort of vibe to it. But the actual plot is about a little girl named Tabitha(Tabby) who is stuck between two worlds. She has to decide which one is real, and her decision has huge consequences on both of them. Basically thats it.

Yep! I was surprised, when i initially joined, that nobody called me out on it! Boy was I ever confused when I first tried to join Sunclan. I thought joining a clan was a big ordeal and that I had to persuade you why you would want to accept ME. I remember I said something along the lines of, "This is my first ever clan- I'm not in any others, so you can be sure of my loyalty!!" I thought you were only allowed one character for the entirety of the forums haha. That's why I named her after me.
