I'm going to the movies with her and a few of our other friends to see Jurassic World this evening. :> Her and I both are going to be juniors in college this year, she's staying with her bf in an apartment this summer though. It's so cute, she makes little dinner menu schedules and cleans and x3

Tell me about it! I just finished my degree in Animal Management, and now I'm kinda looking at it like "And what do I do now?" XD I'm hoping to get my own place & a job by the end of the month so I don't have to move back home when my current tenancy runs out (wishing more like), but yeah, other than that I'm kinda like a lost panda. It was absolutely amazing, I ended up getting there first and had to save 6 seats for a sold out theater xD I was freaking out. But yeah, the movie was very good, you should go see it. And yeah <3 I wish I could go hang with her more than I do, but I'm currently healing up from surgery so it's like xP
And I started out college a bit confused on what I wanted. I was going for mechanical engineering but had a shithole teacher that kind of ruined it for me. Moved on and now I'm taking Studio Art as a major at this school and plan on mastering in animation/computer graphics and stuff at a different school.

And that sounds fun! I do wonder what you would do with something like that. Would you work at a zoo or nature preserve? Something of the sort?
I hope you can find a job and place soon :> At the end of this summer I've gotta find a different job and figure out where I plan to live when I go back to school.

The degreee I did focuses more on companion animals than wild ones, but I could still well go for something like that if I wanted c: I've learnt enough about zoos so yeah XD But nah, I'd rather be working as a Behaviourist, helping correct animal behaviour problems like aggression. c:

Yeah I'm doing alright. I went to have a breast reduction done for health reasons to help me in the long run. It was suppose to be closed up by now but because of some of the health issues I've had before the surgery it's taking longer. And I had an allergic reaction to the strips and my body is rejecting the deep stitches. uuuuggghh, so now another whole month has been tacked on by the doctor until I'm closed up.

Yeah, he ended up failing the entire class except for maybe one person. It was annoying and stupid. I am enjoying the art stuff better though... like, I love my classmates, teachers, and I look forward to doing artwork even if it's something not that easy for me. And fft ;u; naaah, I'm still learning so much, I feel like I could do to learn many more secrets and things.

Aahh, well that sounds pretty cool :U What kind of pay does a job like that offer in the long run? Sounds very interesting.

And no, I can't ;~; The school I'm going to is 5 hours away from home in southern indiana and I've still got two more years left of it. I wondered about transferring but I don't want to lose any credits that I've already gained. Plus I want to try going to japan next summer.

Not a lot to be honest. At most, with domestics and without going into veterinary, I'm looking at most £22k a year, and thats for the top end professionals, but thats pretty true for every animal job that isn't veterinary. X3 Because my degree is so open though, I can go into pretty much any animal job (bar veterinary because you need a tonne more training for that) so yeah c:

It's fine, it'll heal eventually here, just gotta stay positive. At least I'm doing a little more now and can play on teh computer and stuff. Doc says I can even drive!

Yup, we tried taking it up with the head of the math department and she's like "Don't let the door hit you on teh way out" basically. It's a really effed up system they got going with all of that.
probably a little of both. I'll work freelance as an artist and I still want to get into a big studio like dreamwork/pixar and shit. I want to avoid disney and shit. Awww thank you so much <3

Hm, well at least you've got options, y'know? I'm sure you'll find something or many things that you enjoy that pertain to your field! Being an animation/artist won't get me very far in life financially.

Yeah, I have to move back and forth each summer and it's a pain in my ass cause I keep a lot of little things. oop. But just two more years of it and then I'll try to figure something else that I can do.

I want to do it as a study trip so I can get some scholarships for it, but I might end up looking into like a week holiday or something if I can save up enough money.

They just do I guess, it's really crappy. I am better off now that I'm out of there though. I will admit, college isn't for some people, and I"m one of those people I feel like I just force myself to be there. :U But there are some days where I actually enjoy myself. So it's a weird mix.

Possibly. It's hard to stay stationed at one station when your an animator, usually they use you for one project and then shew you away until another one down the road. Unless you've become a big hit success like the lead animators and stuff working on HTTYD, etc. You have some low job stability. But you know, I've always been that way, where I get bored working at one job after like 6 months. I like to change things up, learn as much as I can.
I like their movies(despite some of their cliche's) but they're kind of a dick studio. They have a lot of inner turmoil and issues that I don't agree with.

I do!! I wish I had my own apartment really, cause I'm living with a friend and her grandma for like 300 a month. But it's nice either way, it feels homey. My parents want me to move back home to save money adn just go to a local school but it's like... kind of late now, I'm already 2 years in, whats the point in switching last minute?

Ah man! I dunno if I could deal with that kind of job personally, having little to no job stability would just freak me out. See my field is hard to get into, but once your in they don't wanna move you, because you know the animals, the environment, the procedures everything. Yeah, we get our degree in whatever he specialized in. Basically a slip of paper we payed too much to get xD And I hope so <3

I dunno, I just love having a variety of things to do. It's nice to just jump around and learn new things and be really versatile in the workplace. I would love job security too, money, I love that stuff, but I dunno, I've just always been bad at staying in one place for too long.

Well actually, new news. Her grandmother sent my mom a letter saying that I couldn't stay with her this fall because her family says she needs to take care of herself and that she can't afford me to stay there. :/ So I had to last minute struggle around and am staying with an old school friend for 200 a month. ai-veh. Well I lived with three other people most of my life with a sister and two parents, so it's not too bad, it was only two others and the house is pretty big. But yeah, now i'll be living with 2 different people xD
Yeah, my friend and I are still close though, we talk a lot, making things for each other. I miss her, been a while since we hung out since she's five hours away.
