I... deleted my tumblr (BLASPHEMY!!) because I couldn't be very productive with it around. I'm doing good! Been focusing mainly on school, but also music. I want to know what you've been up to!

Hahaha! Don't worry, I understand the worst distraction that is known as tumblr... xD I graduated this time last year myself and was looking for a job for a long time. I finally got one in August so now I'm working as a full time web designer I miss this place and all the memories though...I just can't get back into it after all the problems with copyright and such when I use any images besides stock from dA I do feel like doing a new photomanipulation. I need to get motivated again haha. I use Photoshop and Illustrator a lot for work but only for designing webpages! I'm glad to hear that you've been focusing on your work. Oh and music! ^^

How's your work? Are you having fun?  
I actually have on-the-job training as well, while I'm taking classes, so it's quite a lot of time from my usual schedule. However, I am surviving and still enjoying. Learning a whole lot of new things.  
I do miss this place. I come back to it every once in a while, just to check what's new. I'm glad to be in correspondence with you again! I'm excited to see your work when you do start again.

My workplace is really nice and quite chill xD Everyone is nice and I find that's probably one of the more important things as well as being able to learn new skills :3 Wow that's good though! Sounds like you're learning a lot ^^
Yeah same here...I miss the old times on here. I do wish that I'd kept in contact with some other people as it looks like a lot of the others I used to talk to are gone from here too... But I'm glad to see you around still! (tbh I am practically dead on here...I haven't touched photoshop for my own fun projects for looong time.) I've been hooked on Pokemon Go now since it came out last week haha...

That's great to hear! My officemates are fine, too, they like to scare me out of the blue, but other than that it's all just laughs. I try to learn as much as I can, but it bites me in the butt as graduation for me nears and I have to figure out what I like to do. ;_;

I'm glad to see you still check in here from time to time! I was so happy when I saw your reply, haha! I just post random photos I take here since I'm not pursuing what I used to. You are so lucky Pokemon Go hasn't even been released here!! T_T Although I keep hearing about the accidents people get into because of it ahahah

Ahh that's always the hard part isn't it? >w< I hope you're able to find a career that you like! For me I tried to focus on what I liked the most about my uni course and went from there xD But I know it's not always that easy.

LOL! Yes, it's all you ever hear about...more accidents than anything but to be honest some of those accidents weren't because of pokemon go, it was just a coincidence? Yep I'm still in the same job but I love it so it's all good ^^ I've gotten some fun tasks like making banners and such for the company's social media...but most of the time it's code work for me. Which I don't mind that much now because I get to dictate the design most of the time. I like the look of your website too!

Hihi thank you! I studied a bit of Korean in high school, I can't really speak it but I can read and write hangul, say short phrases and understand certain words. I've been looking at all the companies I can apply to and I'm hoping it all works out. I'll probably be teaching English to kids which I think might be really cute.  

It's good to know you still do creative work in your job! I hope I get to enjoy my future job, too. Pretty excited for where life will take me. And thank you! That means a lot coming from you, since I met you as an artist and now you do it for a living!  

Haha, that's not dumb at all! A lot of girls don't really dabble with make-up and I get why cause it takes long and it's pretty hard to do but I actually think you'd do it well!! I like experimenting every now and again, which helps when a shoot doesn't have a make-up artist, but I'm lucky to get modelling gigs. 

I am from the Philippines! It's so hot.  And you're from Australia, right? We're not so far apart! I hear it's really cold there. I've always wanted to visit, hopefully I can make it there once I earn enough, hihi. I finally got a working laptop so it'll be easier to reply to you now! Hehe

Haha that sounds awesome!! Teaching kids English sounds like such a fun and rewarding job xD

The funny thing is I never really consider myself an artist because I technically can't "draw" ;__; Though I guess if you count digital art...hehe. I'm sure you will find a job that you will love! It may take time but you'll get there and that's all that matters in my opinion! It took me so many job interviews and 8 months of searching to get the job I have now, but it was worth it.

Ahh really? T___T I dunno why but I was never interested in trying makeup until the last year or so. Maybe because in school we weren't allowed to wear it? But even though I've tried I fail so bad. The only thing I can do really is foundation...like eyeliner is really difficult. So I really admire anyone that can do perfect eyeliner And modelling looks extra cool too

Wow, yeah my boyfriend's friend lives in Philippines too and we play games online together. He always complains about the heat. Actually he lives near a volcano! Though I have no idea where exactly... Australia is super hot in summer and then super cold in winter!! Next month will be winter but it's already becoming quite cold in the mornings >_< I'm so sorry for the late reply... I'll try to check dA more often

I mean, being artist just generally means being able to express your emotions into a medium, right? Hehe. Thank you! Well, I went through a mini crisis cause I realized I didn't know what I wanted to do anymore. Apparently my peers in their early 20s all feel the same way. I realized it 9 months after my graduation.   The internship I have right now too doesn't pay me for writing articles for them so I got myself in a bad situation. I've found a couple of jobs to seriously apply to while I figure it out so all is going okay so far! I guess it's just an addition to my resume and writing portfolio.  

Perfect eyeliner is so hard. I like watching random makeup videos and watching them do it. *u*

Oh that's so cool! I think I have an idea of where it might be, but that's really cute.  We only have sunny and rainy seasons here. My cousins visited Australia to see relatives and told me it's so cold but the people there just wear shirts! I guess your bodies are used to the climate but I still find it so amazing!

Yeah, that's very true. I guess artists aren't all the ones who just draw Ahh, I know how that feels. And it's actually not an uncommon situation as you found T___T Usually people who go to college/uni after finishing school do degrees that seem like the "smart" choice or because they think it will earn them a good job or lots of money, etc. But in my opinion it's more important to find something you are passionate about because it'll end up being a career you'll stick to for most of (if not the rest) of your working life So, all in all, I think that finding something you'd like to do is a good start. Yep, I find that internships are just a great way of getting unpaid labour for companies @@ But as long as it doesn't last too long and you can add it to your resume then it's not too bad! Keep up the hard work and you'll eventually get to where you want to be ^^ (I myself am thinking of trying for a new job soon enough...been almost 2.5 years at my first job now)

Haha I think I just gave up on eyeliner because I'm lazy (would rather sleep a bit more in the morning before work) But I do admire those who can get it looking so perfect.

Australia's winters aren't too bad in comparison to other countries that get snow. It's summer here now and getting stinking hot - about high 30s to low 40s degrees celsius. Hmm how cold is cold exactly? For some people they can withstand the cold more xD But for me I usually wear a cardigan at least if it's getting cold.

Job Search, I used to hate it as I was constantly arguing with my local "Job Centre", they are run by a bunch of know-it-all civil servants, who hadn't a clue what to do with me.
They knew about my ID/Graphics skills yet tried to stick me in "Customer Services" (you know, shop work!) which I was totally unsuited too. Then be told I have NO qualifications or experience by this idiot of a Job Centre worker, I complained to her boss about her attitude, NOT that it made any difference.

Sadly - it was, nothing on TV worth bothering with, and my father was in one of his Stubborn moods. I ended up online most of the day driving various people round the bend (well...actually that WAS fun!)

 Oh god...looks like they are just as bad over there...as they are over here, clueless!

Okey dokey - its a madhouse over there at times, I think I've seen more "drama queens" of both sexes, throwing their toys out of their prams, over VERY silly things, then in the rest of my life - it can get pretty hilarious at times!

Haha you find that happens just about anywhere on the web And I only used facebook mainly with group assignments at uni. I have a few friends who'll contact me on there so I haven't gotten rid of it yet. But otherwise usually I have other means to keep in contact with my friends/family. Facebook has given me lots of indirect problems so I kind of hate it >.>

I had my Xmas Roast with my Father just sitting there looking fed up - he can't eat anything due to having that tube in his stomach

I know, trouble is people tend to sit behind a computer screen and just type out anything knowing (unless you KNOW that person) they can get away with it! Funny thing is, recently I MET one of the idiots who had a go at me over something stupid, they were quite shocked when they realised it was ME they had said it to, it was the case of - "Oh fuk, sorry"!!
Must admit, FB has its good and bad sides - sometimes I just get annoyed and put something up just to delete it a little while later - when it makes its point, can be funny though!!!

Tell me about it - trouble is I checked my friends list yesterday and found that 4 people had unfriended me on there and I'm NOT even sure why! I must admit two were from people who I hadn't spoken to for many years and we had more of less fallen out with anyway - it was just surprising they took so long to do it. One of the others I was only talking to recently, she suddenly unfriended me without even a word - thing is, we hadn't even fallen out!!
I keep on getting into arguments with various people in FB over (would you believe it) Star Trek! Its all over those recent reboot movies directed by JJ Abrams, I saw them, read that they were being raved over like they were the best thing since sliced bread, yet when I saw them I thought 'OK both are your bog-standard Hollywood action movies' and that was that.
OK WHEN I joined several Star Trek groups on FB I noticed in fact these movies had stirred up a Hornet's nest, and WW3 had broken out!!

To be honest Facebook is bringing out the worst in people - they sit behind their computer screen, giving everyone a hard time over trivial matters!!

You tube? Don't, got into a HUGE row with this idiot from Wisconsin over "Chemtrails". He shoved up these stupid videos on how ALL the world's airliners are spraying chemicals in the upper atmosphere. I pointed out what you see is infact water vapour condensing out due to the very low temperature at 30,000ft. You should have seen the response I got - no only him but about 20 of his mates all jumped on me, I was called everything from a cunt, to a clown, I didn't know what I was talking about, etc. etc. EVEN after  I showed proof, that they are called "Contrails" and they even happen at ground level in tempertures as low -30-45 degrees. No I was wrong because they saw it on You Tube or some anti-aviation asshole had told them so! In the end I had to block around 30 people because of all the hassle!!

I know what you mean - funny thing is - one of them said I did it, I told her to grow up - and DON'T ever bother me again!!
