Thought [if you still maintain this page]: If I wanted to make a prop with interchangeable pieces, e.g. same blade for a sword with a switchable hilt, how could I go about molding that? Or would I just have to go and create a new sword for this example?

So good to finally find you on DA.
You and many others have been a massive inspiration for me to create props, I try to make my models as close to your quality but with much cheaper materials, because, college is hard yo'.
I wish to pursue this as a career and I am hoping to get into a set design course.
If you have any spare to to check messages, could you perhaps look at my completed props to see what I mean? If not I'm okay with it.

Thanks for reading them! I always worry that I put all that work into writing them and people just skim for two seconds before moving on, hah

They offer a lot of great tips and insight. Pictures speak a thousand words as they say. Even when you add in the mistakes that were made, it helps us all from making the same mistakes. I and others have watched your work improve and you grow as an artist. And along side you the community improves.

Same for me. Had an DA, never posted. Just started this one with a new name, and new new gig. Best of luck to both of us.
Love your work, built my AER-9 using your plans. The prop replica thing is new for me, 20 years have been spent in theater sets and props. But now this is for me.

Welcome! (back) Glad you're giving this a go. One great thing about DA is that it doesnt compromise quality. Plus, organized functioning galleries are always a plus. ; )

Thank you so so much for coming back to deviantart!Β I've been following your work on FB for a while, and as a fellow FB page user I can personally empathize with how awful it is to have your content buried.Β I love your work and I always learn so much for my own projects, so I can't wait to see what you bring to your deviantart

Hey Harrison, I see you have a Deviantart account... does that mean you will now be making keyblades, Buster Swords, and start drawing Sonic character style fanart? (joke)

I noticed that right after I commented. haha. You're dropping the ball man!
It's actually ironic I'm saying this, as I have made some keyblades myself.... But I'm fully aware of the mentality towards typical people who make keyblades. I have seen your april fools site after all.
