I do the same but i have a thing about making it look more anime-ish then actually trying to make it look sur realistic lolz.
I guess i should just practise drawing real faces and so on lolz, i do love certain actors heehee

I try to go for realistic. I tried anime/manga style before but it just did not work for me. All I managed to do was make them look odd. Too big heads, too long arms.. you name it I probably did it wrong.
But yeah practice is the key word I think.

Lolz, I am "ok" with anime/manga style i guess...
I am liking to draw realistic now though.
The style just came to me so i changed my art style completely (i guess) and so i am trying to improve on this lolz.
