Hey um... I just finished watching the Season 8 finale of MLP yesterday... though I'll try to keep stuff vague in case you haven't seen it yet.
I just have one comment to make here. Just ummmmmmmmmmmm.... do you feel that the Mane Six really can be a little EVIL sometimes?
I mean... they basically manipulated an entire group, and even Fluttershy seemed a bit hypocritical and two-faced.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.
It's just... there seems to be almost like a hint-hint-wink-wink that the Mane Six are being nice to the evil/dangerous creatures in the prison... but in a way, even they are sorta admitting that they aren't.
I didn't like the way Fluttershy speaks out of the side of her mouth when she says she'll basically win the creatures over, and adds something like, "And I won't call them monsters"..... even though she basically is.
To some degree, I just sorta wonder if the Mane Six have become a tad... corrupted in their own way, due to everything they've been through and all the threats they have faced down in Equestria. They have always had their flaws, but in the early seasons it was more like young, naive, ignorant children just learning about social dynamics and how life/magic worked.
These days... I dunno, there are some little areas where I sometimes kinda wonder if a little darkness has seeped into their hearts a bit. They are more aware of evil and how shitty some people can be, after all, and they have perhaps become a tad manipulative.Β
I think part of the problem with being good in a corrupt world is that sometimes, you have to lower your own standards to fight fire with fire to get anywhere....

You know, I have something in my head driving me NUTS right now.
It's about MLP... and the gemstones.
We see Spike eat them.
We also see Rarity going to crystal caves to collect whatever she wants.
Soooo.... how is it that gemstones are also used as a currency? I mean, there is that episode that Spike was able to pay for the damage that the pets were causing with a single gemstone per problem.

Think 1800s.
Equestria is in a transfer rate, and possibly switches between, a Currency System and a Bartering System. And considering how Gemstones are in that world, and how common they can be, I imagine that each gemstone has a specific Bit Value that can be used to pay for things that adheres to a Barter system.
Its like trading so and so chickens for one pig. You can go out and find the chickens or the pig, to seel or to eat, but they still have a consistent value.

So I just got back from watching Antman and the Wasp at the theater.
Honestly.... it made me really really happy. Not only was the movie AWESOME, but....
I feel like in a distant way, my vision of the interior of the Converter Device and Qsa Linex's lair and subordinate programs has been put on the big screen. o.o
Just replace the white-haired dude with Qsa Linex, change a few small details about the lab/building, add in a few soldier drones, and there ya go. The big ants in the movie are doing pretty much what I pictured them doing within the Tower in our fic... though instead of a computer system, Qsa Linex directs/communes with then and regulates them.
In a way, you could even substitute the quantum portal for the conversion thing that sends Users or sprites out of the Net....

BTW, I guess there is something I would like to discuss/geek out with you a tad regarding the world of Equestria.

Secondly... when we think about the world/realm where the Ponies live in MLP, welll...
Let's just look at everything, considering the sun and the moon have to be raised and lowered manually. Does this mean that the MLP is possibly the center of its universe, possibly even a flat world, and that everything else has to move around it?
If so... how does gravity work?
I mean, moving the sun and the moon should cause a MAJOR gravitational shift that should cause tidal waves and earthquakes, at least in a normal realm like ours....

I removed the Cindy stories from my fanfiction account.
That's simply because I'm rewriting the whole thing. I'm taking some elements/aspects from the original saga, but the entire thing is being reworked into a seamless novel. Hopefully.
If you're interested, I could link you to the new and improved story when it is completed.
Though it will be a long time before it is finished.
