Amazing skill. I looked at your FAQ, but didn't see anything about commissions. I read you just do art as a hobby, but I'm curious, and I'm sure others are also; do you do commissions on the side? And if so, what are your rules and price ranges?

Searching For LoveWe're all looking for love and approval in folks we meet, know and share ourselves with online and face to face. How wonderful to have our fill of these, yet how hard the loneliness when the world looks the other way. Today I challenge you to step beyond the bounds of your comfortable circle of friends and say hello and something nice to maybe someone you've never taken the time to before. You never know what others experience, or what a difference a little friendship can make, especially since many people suffer from depression these days, people getting left out, who don't "fit in" even if they're very talented, special, and kind--how can you tell, if you don't notice?
Well, I think you'll like the music videos with this feature, and thank you for checking out the galleries of today's wonderful featured artists! Love always -Debra

Wow! Your art makes me speechless! At first, I thought you were a professional photographer, then I read the description.... It took me hours to believe it!
Breathtaking art you can do with just Ballpoint pens! Master! :bows down:

I can't even phantom the practise and hard work it too you to acquire such an amazing skill. Quero ver mais coisas tuas, enquanto não houver, olho para as que já aqui tens.
Keep at it, excellent work!

My only concern with all this wonderful work is the archival quality. I mean ballpoint pens ain't exactly known to have inks that last a hundred years.... What particular pens do you use and do you have any of these concerns?

Good question. I use ballpoint pens from Bic. I have drawings which are more than 25 years and it looks as if they were drawn yesterday. Ballpoint pen ink is indeed very prone to degradation if exposed to UV light and high levels of humidity, but so are all other mediums known, even car paint will eventually 'burn' after a few years. When kept framed with an UV protective glass and an anti humidity frame, and drawn on chemically neutral paper, a ballpoint pen drawing can potentially outlive its owner.

I actually wrote to Bic concerning the Cristal pens in particular. They advised they were not archival and to go to an art supply store if that was of importance to me (duh!). I think that you are correct in that using an acid-free support and framed under glass this will protect the artwork to some extent. And obviously if kept in a darkened drawer or some such they will last a very long time and outlive their owner. But not framed and hanging on a wall exposed to indirect sunlight. I did some archival testing of my own a couple years ago using only black ink ball and rollerball inks. I kept the test strips on a window ledge forever (they are still there) and I was very surprised by the results. I had expected black ink to last a very long time but within a few short months some of them had degraded so badly that had I not written in pencil beside them I would not know what ink was what. A few of them I am pleased to say are still as dark as the day I wrote them. Anyway, you have some fantastic artwork - keep at it.

Probably no need to point it out, but I guess it's always nice to hear though. I was simply stunned by the detail in your artwork. It looks surreal! I really enjoy looking through your gallery. thank you for sharing.

OMG words simply fail me! In fact OMG is stuck on repeat in my head looking through your gallery. I am reeling in awe of such godlike skills. I am almost afraid to hit the watch button lest I be struck down by Olympian lightning for thinking they were simply photos till I read the descriptions. I still can't even fathom how you accomplish something like that. To quote Wayne and Garth, "We're not worthy!"
