I'd love to write some more to the story and get the two of them properly together, but I feel a little uncomfortable playing with someone else's original character without permission, so I'm not sure if I'll ever write more.

I usually go by my account name AK-Silvergirl on FF but I didn't think that name really mattered and didn't feel like logging in so I just signed it TheAK like my YT-account instead
All other reviews of your stuff has been under my FF account-name though...

I've written several stories using other people's story-setups/OCs, mostly because I wanted to pay them respect, not because I wanted to maliciously rip them off. As long as there is a disclaimer and the author isn't available to contact or finds it offensive, I think it's alright.

If nothing else, you could always make your own OC in that sequel to Family Business that you considered, but never got around to... He could return to Crete (I saw you changed it ;D ) and during the whole powerstruggle in Ikanos and dealing with his estranged father and being used against his will by the military he could find a someone to bond with and help him overcome it...

Whatever you decide, I'll just be happy to see more from you. You write him so naturally - and you get stuff done. I have loads of ideas, but I can never really manage to flesh out a plot - I only get to the setup and the characters... D: so the story dies in its infancy.

I'd love to write about Myrna again. I have no idea why, but I just feel drawn to her somehow. If I get a really good idea, then I might have to reconsider my stance of not writing about her again. XD

Man, you're making me so eager to start writing Aladdin stuff again. Right now I'm busy with stories about another series, but as soon as I have the time, I'll think about returning to Aladdin. I had an idea about Mechanikles and the Sultan teaming up to capture a thief who stole the royal toy collection and Scooter, but something distracted me, and I only got about 10,000 words done. I'd love to finish that story one day.

I really hope you'll find the time/inspiration/energy to write something, too. You have such insightful thought about Mechanikles that I'm sure you'd do a marvellous job. But your fantastic art is of course a huge contribution to the fandom as well.

You say such nice things It'd be so cool if you finished that, and even if you didn't I would LOVE to read it (I wanna be your beta!) also more about Mecha and Myrna. They need some more interaction time... Especially after what happened at the ruined wedding xD and how Myrna would get along with SCooter (dunno how sentient he is, it's an interpretation-thing, but I bet he'd get a bit jaleous lol)

Nah, I have nothing of worth on my FF.account so I'd rather be associated with my name here on dA, so you can just keep it that way... One thing that stuck me as a bit odd after you changed Athens to Ikanos, btw; was that while Athens is a city everyone knows, when Pamphilos said he was from Ikanos Aladdin still immediately knew where that was. Seems like a random city on Crete would be a whole lot more obscure to a non-Greek, no one had to explain to him that it was in Geece.

I feel like compiling some of my mails that include all my thoughts on this characters... and a small rough animation I did to a Charlie Adler dialogue... it was just as a practice, but I figured you might like it... (I am an animation-student, so I'll probably do more in secret anyway rofl)

If I start writing more, you'll be the first to know. If you want to, I can show you that unfinished fic sometime, but it hasn't been edited or anything, so it's not in a very good shape.

Oh, thanks for pointing out that part with Aladdin knowing the city. The truth is that I changed the city with a find and replace feature and then just skimmed through it to see if all the references matched. I'll fix that right away.

I'd absolutely love to read your thougts and see that rough animation. It would be just fantastic.

I'll do some touch-ups, because he's still not on model, it's just basic volumes and the actual movement... When I've done some clean-up (so it looks more like him, which I do have some practice at already, haha) you'll be the first to see it

Yeah, I figured you might have made your changes the lazy way (it's how I would've done it too) I skimmed through it using the browsers word-Find command as well

Did you use the e-mail tied to my DA account? I just realised that it was my ages old e-mail that no longer works. I use DA really rarely since I don't draw much, so I completely forgot about that. I changed it into a working e-mail just now.

I'm really curious to see your rough animation, so I'll be waiting patiently.
