Grasshoppers dead :C but life goes on, thats great about your animation course, well done, I wish i could have done animation at university but I had to make do with Interactive Multimedia, which style of animating do you prefer and want to specialize in or haven't you decided?

I don't think I decided yet, but i like sci-fi. I like unrealistic creatures and environments; I like comic book art.i like character design, I like detailed clothing. I just think in the beginning i will have to draw or animate whatever my employer needs. I don't have a huge gallery , it use to take me forever to draw one piece, but i am getting better and faster. School is a good thing.
I like your stuff, you really talented, maybe you don't have a degree you want, but with a talent like that all you have to do is to master maya and Zbrush

thats cool, thanks about the art, I started to use 3ds max but it takes too long to learn on your own, I also was gonna start on zbrush but again time. Its difficult to learn 3d softwares with a full time fashion design job. thats why I concentrated on my 2d skills and decided to get that upto scratch first, I might yet go into zbrush later though and see what happens as I was always good with 3d ceramics and sculpting and this should be an easy conversion once I learnt the tools on it

I'm okay, thank you.

The art you have uploaded will appear under the art categories you chose it to when you uploaded but only very popular art appears on the first few pages of each section.

deviantART claims that premium accounts get more page views but this is not the key to becoming popular on the web. You should upload the work you are most proud of to your gallery and then activity is the key. Comment, +fav and watch other peoples art that you like this will lead people to your page. Once they are there let the art do the work. btw my page is a poor example of my advice.

Becoming popular and maximising page views will come will come over time. Once you have watchers you can keep them hooked by uploaded more and more art but with regular breaks rather than all in one fell swoop.

Hope this helps you.

This guide may also be of help although it should be taken with a pinch of salt and it is partially a comedy piece: [link]
