I should have asked about this about a year ago, but I didn't have a deviantart account back then... do u mind if I use flamestrike in my TFA story? She is twins with solarflare, but if u prefer me not using her I can easily change that...

What does *shekeira have to say about it? While Flame and Flare are best buddies, they have completely different backstories that would make it impossible for them to be twins. (Flame is much, much older than Flare, for example)
I would be interested to hear more details about the story before I make a final decision, thanks.

Oh, and you can use Flamestrike if you'd like. She's just a much more sober personality. Solarflare is more lighthearted, so they tend to balance each other out, which is one reason they're such good buddies.
Flame *can* be silly, but it's about as rare as Prowl being silly.

Grungewerx/The Gearsmith did a commission for me, and I know I gave him a basic description of Flamestrike for that. I'm not up anymore, but here's a cached image, with her description. I hope that works.

Basically, they can't be twins, as Solarflare is a human transferred to an Autobot body, and Flamestrike is a regular Autobot (who's been around since before the Cybetronian wars). In our stories, Flamestrike and Prowl become bondmates, while Solarflare and Mirage bond. As part of her unwritten backstory (beause I never really got around to it yet), Flamestrike lost her family during the wars, when she wore a different name. So, technically, she doesn't have any surviving family.
If you change her story (and that of Solarflare), then you've changed the basic character. ~Shekeira and I worked together on our stories to make sure they'd match as far as timeline and backstory. I would appreciate it if you'd respect our work.

Ok, I read up more about Flamestrike. But the problem is that in my story Prowl already has a girlfriend. What I could do is have Flamestrike be a very close friend to him. Would that work?
