# About me
Just an ordinary person with hobbies like every other person on this planet.I love to draw, write, paint...anything creative, really. New mediums I might be a bit wary to try at first since I get really weird about messing up or making sure something's absolutely right (in my perspective, anyway), but I'll ultimately try them nevertheless.

I did it more on a whim at that time, but still, I definitely think I could've done better. But seriously, the detail and structure of your map was really good! And while I didn't expect the fav, thank you!

True enough, but time with my schedule nowadays...it's next to impossible to do large drawing/inking projects like that anymore. I can only do small ones or random paintings as those usually don't take as much time...

Oh how I long for that day to come...Ah, but then there's the matter of the program I get into as well, which technically means more studying...

Ah, my parents want to me to do Pharmacy so I'll go along with that for now, but if I don't get into the program (since it's gotten really competitive within the last few years and just getting into the program's a dud for most) I'm switching to healthcare management. What about you?

I used to study History and now I'm in Writing studies, probably going to study journalism next. I have not so much lessons and I'm currently in holidays so it's ok for me, but I have friends in medicine so I know how hard it is :/ Well then good luck with your studies. And don't give up your talent, it'd be a shame ! even if you do smaller things just keep going

Well, did you lose interest in history or did something about it turn you to Journalism? Like I said, I'm only in the program I am because my parents want me to do it and my second choice was really to pacify them as well. Honestly, my passion would be creative writing and the arts, but with the way my father is...let's just say I'm better off doing those things when and where he can't see me indulging myself.
As for talent...I still have a long way to go before I can even be considered the slightest bit decent at anything really. I'm not talented, but you definitely are. Seriously, I've seen more than just that one map (eh, though I keep thinking I added them to my favourites when I apparently didn't...) and you have a lot of talent and very interesting ideas! I certainly won't stop doing what I love...unless my father's around, of course, but that's besides the point...

Unlike you I have the chance of having supportive parents who let me find the job I want to do and not something they want... So for a while I didn't know what to do and I still don't...
Actually my biggest dream was to write stories (maybe become scenarist one day), but I feel like I need to know more stuff about the real world and about politics. So I figured out if I become journalist, I will learn about how our world works and how I can make stories feel more realistic. Plus I will have the possibility to exercise my writing skills. And lastly I think there are many injustices that need to be fought, and I think journalism is the best way to be heard...
(I'm probably a bit optimistic here, with the state of journalism in our world^^)
Thank you for your words, it's really kind of you. I think you have talent too and I mean it. Just look at some Deviants out there and you'll see you're above standard! And if you keep exercising, even just a little bit everyday, you'll see that you're going to get better. A few years back, I had more lessons, but I drew or wrote every night, even if it meant I had less time to sleep. I was depressed sometimes, but now I think it was the right thing to do, because I didn't give up and I always tried to get better (and I still do).
Even if you spend only 5 minutes a week practicing, I think it'll be for the best and one day, you'll see progress and you'll be proud of yourself. And that is the only thing that matters

Well, I'm glad you have the choice to be what you want. And I'm even more moved by your aspirations about the injustices in this world we live in. Sometimes I wonder why things like that happen, but I don't think anyone will ever know. The best we can do is call attention to it any some way, shape or form. So I definitely admire your resolve and goal.
Thank you for the comment! Honestly, while I don't have much time to do much in the way of art nowadays except for tiny doodles, I still write as much as I can whenever I and wherever I can. Tiny haikus or couplets. Sometimes an idea for a prologue. Sometimes I randomly get sentences in my head about this idea for a book I'm working on. I'm still not happy with most of my work, but I guess it's as you said, the more I work on what I can do, the better I'll get and maybe one day I'll see myself as a little more than a pathetic embarrassment.

Well, it's good you keep doing artistic things, whatever they are. I'm glad you do.
Never give up and believe in yourself, I think that's the most important thing!

It's my pleasure! Your work is beautiful and I can't fathom how much time it must take to not only design, but create your pieces! I haven't had any time as it is for a long while to do much if anything at all... Not that it would've made much a difference, anyway; my work's beyond amateurish...
And you definitely don't have to hope. I KNOW that all of your future pieces will be as wonderful as the ones you have out now!

Oh gosh such sweet things to say!
But don't be so down on yourself! Your work is definitely above average, nowhere near amateur! I am positive with time and practice - even if it's just an hour once a week - you will see improvements. Just be patient, I know you can!
