Almost everyone I know has Firealpaca. I don’t, I can’t (don’t have a drawing tablet). But using a software like Colors! 3D on my 3DS has pretty much built me up from scratch. I’ve never used a base so I guess I’ve gained the approval of artists with high expectations.

But yeah. Anywho; Someday I’ll use some elite application like Firealpaca.

firealpaca is hardly elite, it's a free program. most people that make real impressive artwork do so in photoshop, in my experience. a tablet is very useful, but never underestimate the power of pencils and paper

Yeah. I feel as if work using pencil and paper usually turns out better. Because one mistake in a digital piece involving the merging of layers can ruin literally everything.
