Canada beat Norway in men's ice hockey at the Winter Olympics! 8-0! A crushing defeat!

Mens ice hockey is boring. The ice hockey guys wear too much clothes. I only like the sports where the players show their bodies. Like right after a soccer game when the guys take off their t-shirts and hug each other. That's very pornographic. But I like construction workers more (is that what it's called? the guys who build houses??) But that's maybe not a sport. That's more a job I think. But they have nice pants. And in the summer they wear less clothes and show their arms.
Well. Cogratulations anyway. Hope everything is fine with you?

What about women's ice hockey? I would probably enjoy it more if they were naked. Do you like male figure skaters in their tight skimpy suits? I was planning on going into construction as carpenter, but I did not have the brain for math that is involved. I only work well in literature, philosophy, and mindless physical labour. For the most part everything is fine with me. I have my first session with a psychotherapist tomorrow morning. My family wants me to see one. My psychiatrist does not think I need one. Should be fun! How are things with you?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ToxicaMirabilis In reply to IainRamsay [2010-02-17 23:27:58 +0000 UTC]

Womens ice hockey is even more boring. And the male figure skaters are too feminine. Maybe more feminine than ice hockey women. But I sometimes like to watch female figure skaters because I'm a hoop dancer, I dance using a hula hoop, and therefore I like to watch all kinds of dancers just to see if I can learn something new.
For the most part everything is ok with me too but I have gotten some new mental illnesses lately, paranoia and hypochondria to mention some. I have the constant feeling that people try to poison me or put LSD in my food or drink. I've always been a bit like that, but when I was younger and wilder I kind of enjoyed it, which I don't do now. I'm also going to a psychiatrist tomorrow. And I think both my family, me, the psychiatrist and most other people I know agree on that being a good idea.

I also get things like that. Some time ago I had been taken some blood tests at the doctor and I was going to get the results per mail. I was so scared I might have cancer or hiv or something like that so I didn't even dare to pick up the mail and open the envelopes. At that time I one day noticed someone had build a very funny looking machine and put it in the basement of my house (I live in a house with about one hundred apartments so it's not only my basement, it's everyone's basement) and it seemed to be attached to the water pipes. So then I started thinking my oldest sister's ex boyfriend (he doesn't like me) had built this thing to poison my water so I started buying bottle water. After some time, I brought all the envelopes to my therapist and we opened them together and it turned out this blood test was fine. And there was also a letter from the people who owns the building I live in explaining what this thing in the basement was for.
Well, I spend lots of time worrying over nothing. People say I have very good imagination and that's maybe why I'm a good writer but it also creates problems. The good thing is I don't need a TV and I almost never get bored. Being in my mind is like watching a never ending horror movie.
I have also had problems with these catholics. I know one strictly catholic woman from the Philipines who was gonna help me get rid of the ghosts in my apartment once. She gave me some catholic prayers and told me I had to say them every night. I did for a few days, then I stopped and then everything started going really bad. She told me, of course, it was because I had not been saying these prayers every night. I told her I had problems with believing in these prayers because I come from a non religious family and these things doesn't really make sense to me. Then she told me this doubt I had was created by satan, and satan was inside my mind controlling my thoughts.
I think some of these catholics are kind of freaky. I think if you meet a paranoid person who believes there are ghosts in her apartment and this is what you do to help, you must be kind of paranoid yourself.
Congratulations on your birthday by the way. Now the worst part is done. Turning 31 is not so bad they say.

Hoop dancing, that is kind of exciting.
Yeah, I had a bit of paranoia over the weekend. My brother-in-law (he was raised a Catholic)has started going to church again, because he wants to get my nephew baptized, but because I was feeling ill I thought he was going to church to turn God against me and to make me stop drawing. The last three weeks have not been too good for me. I am not to sure what triggered it off. I screwed up one of my gag cartoons for my Playboy submission, I turned thirty, and it is the dead of winter. It is probably a combination of all those. I hope the psychiatrist works out for you. Be patient if you have to start taking medication, because it takes a while to get it right. Welcome to the lunatic fringe!

Over the past few weeks I have been thinking a lot about Norwegians and I must say I am scared. What started me thinking about Norwegians was when I watched the documentary β€œMetal: A Headbangers Odyssey”, which had segment about Norway. I have never been so frightened of a country in my life. I learnt from the documentary that Norwegians listen to Black Metal, worship Satan, burn down churches on Christmas, and murder musicians. How do you live with yourselves? Now I know why the cartoonist, Jason (aka John Arne SΓ¦terΓΈy) left Norway for France. He is currently the cartoonist whose work I am most interested in. Feel free to read his biography and see some of his work at the following link: [link] I will pray for you and your people.

I don't think you should worry too much about Norway. I know there are some Black Metal geeks around but I don't think they spend much time on burning down churches and stuff like that. I think they spend most of their time drinking beer like you do. And, I don't think they ever cross the Atlantic so you should be safe. Right now I have a new favorite artist. His name is Elzo Durt and is from Belgium. Check out the link: [link]

I was really impressed by Elzo Durt's art, thanks for the link. Also, I do not spend most of my time drinking beer. I spend most of my time working on my new portfolio. You should check out some of my new work, it is pretty primitive looking. When are you going to start submitting more of your work? I have been waiting for some time to see some and so far you have only let me down.

Hey,

Here is somebody you probably know [link] . Today I was reading about Norway in the magazine, "Canadian Geographic". I could not believe that they are only 4.3 million people in Norway. Such a small population for such an old country. That is why I figured you know the person from the link. You are probably neighbours with her. I do not really like her work. I think I used too, but I cannot remember. You will probably like her work, because it is very feminine.
