Cool comic. I like the dialogue - you sound like you are mainlining every decent action movie from the last 2 decades but with the added twist of a duck detective. A lousy detective at that. I hate drawing backgrounds too but I am beginning to use stock photography and Photoshop to create backgrounds for more boring scenes like in a bar. This technique might suit you too.

I have more time on my hands now that I'm no longer at work for a little while for recovery from my shoulder surgery so I'm hoping to put in better backgrounds now. Thanks for the visit!

Hey, this is the guy with the Leftovers book from myspace. Your stuff looks pretty good. Aside from the backgrounds you were talking about, your stuff looks really good. You seem to have a good grasp of making your characters "act" rather than be boring, and the same. Thanks for the comments on my stuff by the way. If anything, I take pride in my backgrounds. Keep up the good work and take it easy. I'll add you to my friends.
