Hey liz! I just had a small question! i'm working on a cosplay again (little bit less sewing and more painting) and am having a hard time finding the right shades. got any sites that r good for finding stuff like this?- [link]

What I would do, actually, is to go call home depot and ask them if they have any transparent red plexiglass or acrylic sheet. Then, you can trace the lens shapes out and cut them with a hand saw - ask the employees to find sawblades that will cut plexiglass. Then, deconstruct an old pair of sunglasses and attach your sawed-out lenses in whatever way you see fit. That way, you can say you made them yourself!

Oh crud, I just realized that I forgot to add Jane's tail when drawing her. Her is the uncoloured version [link] Would you like me to just colour that, or add the tail, or which?
I looked at the reference too, but couldn't see it. I had it in there originally too! Okay, I probably shouldn't stress so much, but anyways.

Nah, you don't need to add the tail in. I can tell you put a lot of effort into it, and I'm not gonna be cruel and make you work harder. As for the colors, Jane's skirt, boots, and gloves are tan, her shirt is maroon, and her hat is navy blue. Thanks again for being one of my prize-givers!

A Spanish play called "The Gears." It's very dark, and involves cannibalism, forced histerectomy, and a large, menacing factory. It'll be the first time I've designed a theater production. What's your project?

Oh dear, cannibalism AND forced histerectmy, that's really pulling out the big guns in the freaky stakes! It sounds like something that will be interesting to design though. I hope you enjoy woking on it.
For my honours project at uni I'm designing for the play 'Mort' (adapted from the discworld novel) and making two of the costumes. Then I'm also working on a show called 'Moses On Down' which is a western style re-telling of the story of Moses. This will be very interesting as a)I'm not religious and b)the cast incorporates about 50 kids! Lol.
