Sorry for the late reply. I'm not on dA much at all anymore
But yes, I am an Ásatrúar. It's not super-common here but there are a handful (5-10 I believe) hearths/kindreds in Canada. I'm not actually of much Germanic descent; I am a quarter Cornish (an ethnic group from the south of England with a large concentration of Celtic genes) and a quarter western Scottish though. The Scottish part of my family had a lot of dealings with the western Jarls in the olden days.

But anyway, I've always felt particularly drawn to Ásatrú above other religions, including Celtic Polytheism which to some people seems like a more logical choice. It certainly makes more sense than the mixed Judeo-Christianty that I was raised in.
