No, but I watched it live! It really was amazing! I loved the first bit the most, with the industrial revolution, that was spectacular...

I wouldn't know, I don't live anywhere near London, and the traffic there is crazy all the time anyway xD There was a news report a few weeks ago about how there had been problems caused by new road markings, where one lane of regular traffic split into a buses only lane, and an official olympic traffic only lane, with nowhere for the regular traffic to go - it confused loads of people!!

I watched some of the long-distance cycling this morning, the route went out from London into the countryside and through several villages, and it was amazing to see that the whole way down the roads was packed with people on both sides, a really spectacular turnout!

I watched the Mens beach volleyball today (US vs. Japan) and the womens. Since I play volleyball for my school, I find it fascinating how smoothly they move for only having two people.

We watched the Women's artistic gymnastics semi final this afternoon, It finished with the American team top of the leaderboard, and Britain second place, but we'll see what happens in the final! Some of those gymnasts are really young, and they pull off some very impressive routines!

Yeah I tend to think of sport as being less interesting than it actually is, then you sit down to watch it and you get really into it.

We did pretty well in the rowing as well today! Are the events broadcast to the US delayed? Or do you watch them live?

Yea I heard you guys got gold in rowing but they didnt show it. Some of its delayed and some of its live, just kinda depends on the event. A lot of the morning stuff is delayed (like the swimming)and the evening things are live (like volleyball and gymnastics).

Yea that was crazy! I couldnt believe it when i saw it. You would have thought that they would have played better after being warned several times by the officials.

Oh and did you hear about the South Korean fencer that got denied a medal that obviously should have been hers?

Yea the clock froze with one second left allowing the opponet finish her attack. They awarded the other girl the medal, even though if the clock would have expired like it was supposed to the girl from South K would have won. i couldnt believe they didnt do anything about it
