Eleanor: Okay, what is it? *she asks in her monotone as she roots around in the mouth of one of her mutant rats like a dentist, even taking a file to one tooth to sharpen it like a sword*

ranko: i have this feeling that my dad is still alive out there and i need your help

Eleanor: How strong? *she asks Ranko, patting the underside of her rat's chin to let it know she's done. She then puts her dental tools in a nearby pan for cleaning*

ranko: what do you mean how strong? its this deep gut feeling

Eleanor: How strong is this feeling? *she clarifies, looking at him as she opens a drawer and lifts out her medallion* If it is strong then I shall aid you, if not... then we drink tea. *she says in complete deadpan with a tiny smirk*

Rano: *gulps* its really strong.....like....i feel like hes still out there somewhere....i recently saw on the news that two big millionaires got arrested for kidnapping people and making them fight in a 'war' that was them just playing officer comander for some soldiers....and the 'wat' they mentioned was the one the guy who came to take my dad had the same nameΒ

(What else would Eleanor suggest~? 
Eleanor: Fuuuuun. *she says in sarcastic deadpan* Okay, let me do something first. *she casually requests as she walks out of her lab with her medallion, she goes upstairs to her father's lab where he in the midst of brewing what appears to be a combustible liquid along the lines of napalm* Papa, can I dismantle a crime lord's battle royale facility? And can you recharge my medallion? *she asks as if she was asking to go buy ice cream*
Dax: Of course, just be back by dinner. *he says as he sends the mixture through an assortment of tubes, he reaches over and takes Eleanor's Medallion in his hand which begins to glow with the unholiest of magics. He hands it back to her once the glow fades* Take Uncle Ferris with you.
Eleanor: Okay. *she responds, taking her medallion back*

ranko stood there waiting "are you ready?" he asked holding out his hand to her. "itll be very dangerous since its a war zone...b-but dont worry...i'll protect you i promise"

Eleanor: I know you will. *she says before giving him a quick peck on his cheek* If you don't my dad will kill you.Β
Dax: *glares at Ranko over his shoulder to indicate that he will in fact kill him if something happens to her*
Eleanor: ....Buh-dun-tish. *she adds with a deadpan smirk*

Eleanor: It's a little funny. *she replies* Lets go.
*Fast foreword to them on their way to the compound. Eleanor brought a giant rat for the 3 of them to ride, this rat is named Gusbus, Eleanor's supreme-creation. Gusbus is as big as a house and as formidable as a dragon, which may or may not have been spliced into his genes to make him so big. The 3 sit atop his back secured by his hairs which go up to Ferris' thighs standing up*
(Since Ferris' powers negate all forms of magic they can't reverse-summon themselves right to compound.)

Ranko: well.....time to go searching *he says hopping off of gusbus* hmmm....*starts pushing away tall blades of grass*

Ferris: *leaps off of Gusbus with Eleanor on his back, letting her climb off after they land*
Eleanor: Thank you Gusbus, that will be all for now. *she says before petting his giant nose and sending him back home with a summoning circle, having Ferris step back enough for the circle to work. She follows Ranko through the grass at a modest pace*
Ferris: *overtakes Ranko's pace fairly quickly, he begins cutting through some of the thicker grass with a machete to ease their travel*
Eleanor: *as they're walking she notices a large roach that has latched onto the back of Ranko's shirt* Oh.. how do you do? *she greets the roach* ..Ricardo is a nice name..

ranko: elanore...who are you taking to? *he says as he tries to keep up with ferris while at the same time trying to survay his surroundings*

Eleanor: Just Ricardo, he's made himself cozy on- *Eleanor quickly hushes up as a crow caws in the distance and flutters away. To anyone else it would just be any other bird call, but to those with Druidic heritage it was as clear as any other language.. "Scary Humans! Fly Away!" is what Eleanor heard*
Ferris: *quickly grabs the top of Ranko's head and ducks him into the grass, taking cover himself. Though he lacks the Druidic call of the Wild, his instincts are not to be trifled with. He covers the top of his body with the grass he had cut along the way to camouflage himself as he is much bigger than the children and cannot hide as easily*
*shortly after they duck in cover, 2 men carrying guns emerge from the tree line. It is unclear if they are prisoners or the crime lord's lackeys, without a doubt they heard the commotion from Gusbus stomping around earlier and came to investigate*

Ranko: why are-oomph*his mouth gets covered by elanores hand shushing him* *he looks up and his eyes widen, he taps elanore on the shoulder and points to one of the gunmen*

(It's not his Dad already, is it? 
Eleanor: *she puts her finger over her mouth, indicating that Ranko should keep his voice down*
Ferris: *his gloved hand slowly emerges from his sleeve, grabbing a pebble off the ground as silently as an ant lifts a crumb. His other hand also peeks out of his sleeve.. brandishing 3 throwing knives between his fingers*

Ranko: *nods*
soldier: i dont hear anything....lets move on *he says to the other soldier*

Ferris: *quickly hurls the pebble at a tree to the left of the soldiers*
Soldier 2: What was that?! *he shouts, turning to investigate the noise made by the pebble*
Ferris: *waits patiently for the soldier to be in the perfect position before... WHOOSH! The first 2 knives are hurled at the 2nd soldier, 1 at his leg to immobilize him and the 2nd at his hand, specifically his index finger to both wound him and jam his gun. As the first 2 knives fly he hurls the third at the head of the first soldier to kill him.*
*every knife flys through the air and hits their intended target. The first soldier falls head as the knife lodges itself in his head. The 2nd soldier is wounded but not fully disarmed, the knife sticks in his ankle causing him to fall over*
Ferris: *rushes the 2nd soldier the moment after he threw his knives, bursting from the grass like a lion on the hunt. He tackles the soldier and throws away his gun, breaking both of the soldier's arms one at a time shortly after*

Eleanor: It matters not. *she says to Ranko, standing up from the tall grass and brushing herself off* Whether they are aware or not, they are armed with guns and we are strangers in hostile territory. If Uncle had not intervened, they would of shot into the grass before they even knew we were children. *she explains in her usual monotone albeit with a very serious look on her face*
*As they talk Ferris has completely immobilized the soldier, breaking both his arms and sticking a small knife into the side of his leg. Leaving the solider alive and in pain.. ready to be interrogated*

Ranko: please stop killing people ferris....i just wanna find my dad and leave without hurting people

Eleanor: You asked for my help and I'll help you the only way I can, my way. *she says to him before approaching the wounded soldier* Now then, we're looking for a man that looks like him.. *she says to the soldier, pointing to Ranko* Oh, without the cuddly, floppy ears though. *she clarifies, her entire tone during this exchange is a casual deadpan despite the fact that she's talking to a wounded, broken soldier that her own Uncle has pinned to the ground, reflective of how this whole scenario is nothing new to her* If you could point us in his direction that would be quite nice.

soilder: argh! i dont know who you're talking about....been here so long havent seen anyone besides my comrade that you bastards killed

Eleanor: A figure of speech, Floppy. *she says to Ranko*
Ferris: *twists the knife he left in the soldier's leg*
Eleanor: You really should watch your language, there are children present. *she says to the soldier in a sarcastic deadpan* Take a good look at his squishy face, I'm sure you must of seen at least one person who vaguely resembles him. *she says as her face darkens, answering incorrectly could prove to be a fatal mistake*

Eleanor: I agree... too bad.
Ferris: *without warning he grabs the soldier's head and snaps his neck with a loud crack*
Eleanor: We still have a lot of ground to cover, we should get going. *she says casually, waiting for her uncle to clean and gather his belongings before they venture into the jungle*

ranko: *shudders at the bone cracking* y-yea....*walks with her* so....*after a while of walking they both become ensnared in a net tied to a tree* e-eh?!

Ferris: *the activation of the net swiftly kicks him into action as he draws his machete from earlier to cut them down*
Eleanor: Oh dear.. Perhaps I should of watched -your- step as well as my own. *she says calmly as her uncle starts cutting the net open* At least this net isn't made of snakes.... buh-dun-tish.

*a rustle in the bushes is seen and a man walks out dirt over his face, he looks likw an older ranko*

Ferris: *points his machete at the man warningly, giving out an aura of killing intent to make him back off*
Eleanor: *casually climbs out of the net where Ferris cut it open*

Ranko: *eyes are wide in shock* Ferris.....wait...
*the soldier lowered his gun looking at Ranko*
solider: ran...ko?
Ranko: ....dad?...
*the solider drops his gun and falls to his knees tears in his eyes*
Ranko: *starts crying and running to the soldier with his arms wide open* DAD!

Eleanor: ..Well that was fast. *she comments, remarking how quickly this was resolved*

(Yeah.. that's kinda why I was hoping to pace it out a bit. Maybe have a side plot of one of the soldiers turning into a defacto warlord now the crime boss has been arrested
