If they did, it's probably because your buddy went to the artist's page herself to stir up trouble. (See where the comment originates? It's on SOMEONE ELSE'S profile.) The artist in question has done absolutely nothing wrong. Nothing. At all. And people are attacking her. I don't even know her and I stood up for her because it seemed like barely anyone else was.
If your friend wants to hurl insults and screech at people for being "ART THIEVES!11!!1!" (when there is no proof, you can't claim 'copyright' on a simplistic pattern (see: tsum tsums)) she should expect SOMEONE to think it's not okay, even if there WAS art stolen (which there was not.)
I don't think your buddy knows what all goes into plush making (I do). And taking 2 or 3 classes in economics or copyright law doesn't mean anything. Yes, I called her a joke, because her arguments are foolish. She honestly thinks there is lawsuit material in here? No fucking way. No way at all. Try taking this to a lawyer and they'd be laughed right out of the office. There is nothing to stand on here. And even if there WAS, good luck trying to sue someone in another country.
The ONLY THING I did (I see she claimed I sent ~~ALL MY MINIONS~~ to her page, was I had my friend sent my last reply to her since she insulted me and blocked me.) That's it. One person, who didn't send a note nor insult her. So whatever she told you is independent of me, and probably because she raised a shit storm of her own on someone else's page.
