We just recently started doing photography in Multimedia. We had an assignment where we had to wander the school and take photos using different design elements (line, texture etc.) using inatimate objects. Me and my friend came back about 15 minutes after the others and the teacher said I had the best photos in the class which made me proud of myself. I'm sooooo sick and tired of using the crappy family camera, it sucks so badly I can't describe it in words. Ima look at that site now. I'll also check ebay, my price range is low since I have no money and I just started my job and (like any 16 year old) have lots of things to buy. And Guild Wars is $90! WTF?! >.<

Hey, I have returned from... well I don't exactly know where I've been. Seems like I've been away from rev and DA for a million years. Aaaaanway, I want to get into Photography seriously this time and I wanted to know what kind of camera do you think I should get. (I have a feeling ive asked this once before)

Depends how serious you want to get. Do you want manual controls or full automatic? (SLR or "point and shoot") Film or digital? And lastly, what's your price range? Nikon, Canon, Minolta and Olympus are pretty much the leaders in the industry. Each have their pros and cons. dpreview.com is a great site for digital camera reviews. I would also go to the store and see what camera feels best in your hands.
I own a Canon EOS Rebel T2. It's a 35mm SLR. In the short time I've owned it, I've never had a problem using it. But I've also been using crappy film for practice before I start using the more expensive stuff.
If you don't know anything about photography, I would highly suggest an introduction to photography class so you can learn the basics, that is, if you want to use a more complicated camera. I have nothing against point-and-shoots. They're just very limited in use.
