They sure are! I know my account here has dust thicker than a layer cake, but I am still making art, and I'm still improving a quite lot. I reckon I'll dust the old girl off at some point and scrap all the old stuff and start fresh with my new art. I'm really happy to still be in contact with you bro, thanks for the messages dude. And yea, bro...your one of my best online buddies, we still need to meet up irl sometime Things are allright for me, still working and studying and when I have some spare time I put it into my ever growing list of hobbies. Indeed I still model, infact, recently I've really had the modeling itch (supposed to be studying tho), I'd like to think I'm improving, and hopefully will take my skills into a professional career.

That would be really great, I know a few 3D modellers online who do have real life paid applications for their skills, my mate Max has a pretty nice website actually [link] he runs it with a couple of others and they are constantly doing things for clients. What sort of career did you have in mind? What's great is you'll probably end up doing whatever it is you wanna do, you're a great modeller!

man, that's some really impressive work, very clean and polished! Not sure how I would like to progress my career. I would like to do some kind of design or development job for a vehicle/transport company, so cars, bikes, planes, boats etc. I hope I do, I don't actually have a qualification in 3D, working towards a degree in design engineering which should be useful. Once that's done, combined with my current skills, I reckon I could be a formidable force No one would be able to stop me, the world...oh..uh...went into world domination mode there for a sec.
But yea, truly a big thanks bud! What about yourself? you have any career plans?

lol nope, I like my current job (if not the place or managers), it's better than most generic jobs but it's nothing career or talent/skill defining. My main goal is still to move to Australia and then see where to go. My only real talent + passion is art and that's not something I want to turn into a career, so I really have no idea about my future, it's a strange position to be in, but I find the idea of having a career plan to be a little strange myself.
If Pyro ever starts up that game company I'd totally love to lend my hand to it in a graphical way, I'm an alright texturer and I enjoy making concepts. Having a direction/project to follow would be nice, and working with a colleague who's also a long-term friend would be ace.

lol, it would be great if we could assemble a game team made up of just us online chums

aah, fair enough, moving to Aus sounds really awesome, something I'm considering if I don't get anywhere here after I get my degree.
But in the mean time, as long as you enjoy your job, that's the most important thing!

I'm still constantly ebbing him towards the idea, I figure if I suggest it enough it'll become lodged so deep in his subconscious that one day he'll wake up and realise he wants to move out there too. It would be nice having you guys out there Not to mention the games industry is taking off over there I think.

Yeah, there are redeeming qualities to it, and even to my town, but I am so BORED here. In Australia I know that myself and friends will often be up for going to some amazing place to do some awesomely cool activity or something. Here I never really want to travel to some other place, it all looks the same.
