I have indeed read all the books through, several times. If there is such a thing as a scholar of the Sword of Truth book series, I am it.

If you are already familiar with the scene, you are free to choose any technique you wish. Just be sure to include a basic background along with the characters. Take as long as you want to finish the piece, put in as much effort as you are comfortable with.
Make sure to confirm your choice of #15 so that I can remove it from the list of scenes to be drawn.

He said they were going to cast unknowns, so at least we'll have some one that doesn't already have their own 'mould' so to speak.

that's actually kind of a relief to hear that he's casting unknowns. Lots of times I've noticed big names are casted for a film/show for their name whether or not that person actually fits the part is irrelevant. Hopefully this means he'll get a good cast and keep us all happy!!!

I have checked out the website. Actually, I'd be surprised if if there was a Goodkind\Sword of Truth web page out there I haven't visited. If you read down the comments on this page a bit, you'll find some discussion about the mini-series from some other fans who have posted here.

Hey thanks for the vote of confidence. I was hoping to have this done by the end of the year originally, but having seen how long it takes to organize a large group of people on a task this big, I think its going to have to be a hobby of mine for several years if I'm going to do it right and get artwork for all 11 books. I just couldn't bring myself to do this if I wasn't going to do it as well as possible. Thanks for the encouragement.
