She's the most realistic character in the entire series. I don't remember at any point in the series where she was whiny. I like her because she's kind, sweet-hearted, caring, and funny. She has always put her friends first. She has made bigger sacrifices than nearly every character in Bleach. In addition, her ability perfectly compliments her loving personality. If I can have a friend like her, I would be one lucky person. One of her most tragic quotes that speaks multitudes about her character: "Being lonely isn't nearly as bad as being in the way. If I'm going to be an hindrance to everyone, then it's far better to be lonely"

It's certainly a bonus that she's 'well-developed'... But if I only liked characters because of their chest size, I would like Rangiku which I don't really care for.

I just think shes a boring character. She's a walking punchline. She's lazy because she doesn't want to do any work. Most scenes with her are boob jokes or booze jokes. In battle, she's done nothing to set her apart from any vice captain. For example... Renji never gives up, Kira is a brilliant strategist, Hinamori is very skilled with Kidou, Omaeda acts silly but that is really a facade to mask his true abilities, and the rest barely had any screen time in battle. Also, I think Nelliel's chest is bigger than hers and Nelliel is way more interesting than her
