# About me
I'm a mischievous ruddager, fresh out of Sheridan College, I work making cartoon people do things in cartoons. My official title is Senior Cartoon Person Mover.Sometimes, I even draw things! I might even post them here.
I value constructive criticism far more than praise, and while I'm very appreciative of (often undeserved) praise, If you see something awkward with a composition, bad anatomy, strange spacing-- whatever-- don't be afraid to say it. I'd be really grateful if you could point it out to me, as you'd be helping me grow as an artist, which is far more valuable than any compliment!

Hey, I saw you asking Gashi-Gashi about what program he uses to sprite. I'm pretty sure he uses Photoshop, though GIMP should do the trick if you don't want to pay for anything. I use to sprite a lot about a year ago, and might be able to help you out if you want.

thanks for the info. I suppose theres no magic trick to it? you just work low res with an aliased line to make it look sufficiently retro?

Well it takes a bit of time to figure out how to make objects look perfectly smooth if someone doesn't help you out with the basics. Usually it takes months for someone who has no artistic background (though this obviously isn't the case for you). If this project you're talking about it already under production, I could try to help speed the learning curve up a bit.

You're welcome, I liked the simplicity in the design. If you do a piece like that again, try changing the posture and proportions (even slightly) in a way that telegraphs who each character is, psychologically.
Keep drawing; take life drawing classes if you're serious about art and you'll see improvement in every part of your draftsmanship-- including stylized characters.
