It says that its yours today.... I didn't question it even though I don't remember your bday being in October. I mean the last day I saw you I believe was your bday party....either way mine sucked! I got sick because it rained so hard here. Also stayed 13 hours in school that day with no rest then had critique it was awful!

There is a lot of fun stuff to find out there and since the show just finished airing it's first (and sadly final) season there is a lot of material being made from other fans. Fics, art, tailoring, sculpting. It is just for you to dive right in an roll around in it all.

Thanks for welcoming me! :3 I don't usually like a lot of cartoons, especially from Disney, but I sat down with my sister and watched the show to support the fandom after I heard that it was getting cancelled. And then, I totally got hooked! I just absolutely love the idea!

I will defintiely be taking advantage of all the art that is out there of the show. I hope to cosplay as one or more of the characters in the future, if only my budget wasn't so skimpy. xD

Disney has a tendency to promote the heck out of their less... intelligent shows. Making the stand out gems hard to find or unheard of. Which is terrible for shows like Motorcity and now that Tron show has gotten axed too. I know that Gravity Falls is not an action cartoon, but with how they are treating it right now it seems like they want that one gone too.

I don't know much about cosplay so I can't really help you there. But I think that even if you just find a cheap T-shirt and paint a Burner logo on it, others will recognize you as a fan anyway.

Yes, I realized that about Disney when my sister told me about what was happening to Tron. I'm not a fan of the movie, but I still heard it was a good show. And yes, Disney does tend to promote cartoons that aren't very intelligent. Sure, let's take away the shows that have excellent character development and plot progression. Sheesh, what is wrong with today's standard's of children's shows? And I Like Gravity Falls, too... -.-

They go for what is safe and bland and the general mass will latch on to quickly because it is exactly the same as the other mindless shows...
Gravity Falls is hilarious. I really do hope they will treat it better when it comes back.

Yeah, no kidding. Makes me want to write a lot of fanfiction, and I don't often do that unless someone begs me to. xD I would like for all shows to stay, though, mostly because there are a lot of people upset about all of the other cancellations, and I know how that feels. No one else should have to go through the trauma of losing a favorite show. I mean, they canceled Merlin, too...
Man, why couldn't they just make a Disney network geared toward older kid audiences, and put those shows on it? Unless they already have? I haven't had cable in years. -.-

At least Merlin have been running for a few years now. The fandom is strong and thriving.
It is a funny show. A bit corny at times... Okay A LOT corny at times, but it is pretty sweet anyway.

Disney doesn't have any place for an older audience. Too few people even get XD so that puts a lot of pressure on new shows too. They have to do really well with a rather small amount of viewer base to work with...

Yeah. I may never forget about Motorcity for as long as I live. That's how much of an impression it has had over me in one month. And I'm kinda in the middle of a fanfic about how Mike met Chuck; I actually wanted to know how Mike met the other Burners before it ended, but we didn't even get that much. So sad. Hey, who knows? Maybe the fans are already taking care of that much.
I hope the petitions that they put out there will be enough to get the show back up and running.

I don't think Disney is ever going to give up the IP.
But if we keep nagging them and showing our support for the show they might bring it back in some form or another. It is a shame that it didn't get as many ratings as it needed since a lot of people are STILL finding the show and spreading it around. It would have become a huge success if Disney had just given it a bit more of what it deserved. That is, adds, toys, a freaking regular timeslot and repeats of episodes at a set time where people could actually see it!

Yes, I agree. I even heard that the reasons behind why Disney canceled the show and is working on canceling others, is because they can't afford to keep them running? I dunno. I heard/read that...maybe on tumblr? Gosh, I wish that I would have started watching it when I'd first heard about it a couple of months ago. I wish I had cable, too, so that I could have helped with the ratings.
I guess maybe Disney wasn't trying too hard to keep the show on the air. Sad, too. Hopefully the fandom will be able to annoy the crap out of them so that it can get brought back.

After buying Marvel, they're probably struggling with keeping newer shows on the air. I dunno, honestly, only that a lot of the shows they're willing to keep just downright suck. I wasn't really a fan of Disney channel when I was a kid, and I had every right not to be with the stupid stuff that they air daily. Why, Disney - just, why?
