Communism and capitalism are both flawed, but they each have strengths, too, but supporting communism NOW suggests one has no knowledge of 20th century history. I have a vague memory of seeing written that without the Cold War, the USSR would have collapsed sooner than it had.

I tend to think of communism as a pile of sand. Everyone gets a portion and it's supposed to account every last grain, but as long as people have secrets, there will be dealing under the table, which is where communism loses track of some of that sand.
