Well, I tried taking some photos for the purpose of a panorama today... and failed ridiculously. While everything is aligned perfectly, the lighting in different photos is off more than enough to make the resulting panorama look like complete shit. In retrospect, I really should have seen this coming... oh well.

One more comment I would like people to see: if something on my page (the quality of a photograph or a submission that you think isn't necessary) strikes you as not so great, be as brutal as you like in telling me. Obviously I've set up this account for myself and my friends, but I also want people who don't know me to enjoy it. With criticism I can better approach that goal.

I'm most certainly a n00b to DeviantART; I was browsing aimlessly today, and I wanted to be a part of the community here. Although I quite like some of the art, I unfortunately suck at drawing, so most of what you will see here is photography (which I think I am above average at; if I'm wrong, though, feel free to correct me).
In the meantime, I am busy being amazed at the breadth of the random-ass emoticons available to me. o_O
