My name is Sonja. I'm a quirky female who lives in the San Fransisco Bay Area in beautiful California. I'm 24 years old and photography is a long time love of mine, and a newly impassioned hobby.

Along with the love of my life, Toby , I like to spend time in nature hiking and taking pictures. Toby is my dog, currently 9 months old, who is the best dog I could have asked for and a great inspiration for me. He will be a constant subject of mine through out the years as I build a photographic shrine to his magnificence.

I have perused deviantART for a long time, always captivated by the beautiful and amazing artwork. I'm blown away everyday by the talent you guys posses.

I enjoy photography but have no training and don't get much time to get out and shoot. I hope that over the next year I can begin exploring the world of photography and I'll post as much as I can here.

I take most of my photography while out with a fellow deviantART user, . He graciously lets me use his Nikon D3000 for my more recent pictures. I can't wait to get my own SLR! (Thanks Michael for letting me be a camera hog!)
