Well, for starters, Squishy is mute and has a case of amnesia as a result of being one of the fusion experiments o:

He was just any average yosh but was snatched away and experimented with. They fused him with a vaporeon and now he's a mix of a yoshi and a vaporeon. Making him one of thousands of yoshimon experiments
